Same, I never even purchased the last two Call of Duty games, just rented them from GameFly. Was never that into COD to begin with, but always bought them with the last one being Black Ops II.

I think Battlefront this year will at absolute worst sell 10 million and that's if it releases in the awful state of BF4. EA said they are treating Battlefront as their big FPS for the year and said they will push it hard, through the marketing blitz alone which EA has in the past that they are capable of, 10M minimum seems easy. The question is how much will the player base in Battlefront and Halo overlap.
Do we have any details about this game? I want to know if there will spartan ops again and all that jazz. I don't mind when games are revealed early, that's fine but to have no concrete information about the game and modes that will ship on release is annoying me. Gonna have to wait for the marketing machine to kick in, big franchises have shown that not long is needed between reveal and release of a game.
For halo 4 i played mostly post midnight on weekdays due to work getting matches at 2 am on a Wednesday 4 months after release was a nightmare. Never was an issue during halo 3. Hopefully the late night community sticks around for 5

Not sure how I feel about this storyline just based on this trailer. Didn't get to play the beta but I'm hoping at least the multiplayer is fresh while still maintaining the core Halo feel for me.

This looks like it's going to carry on a trend that I enjoyed greatly in Halo 4, one in which 343i actually goes there with the story and doesn't just talk the talk. They didn't just tease us with things they don't fully tackle head on. They actually delivered on showcasing that other side to the Master Chief and going all in on Cortana and the chief's relationship, and how rampancy would play into that. They also did a fantastic fucking job at playing up the Chief's legendary status, and made him look more badass and heroic than any other game in the series as far as I'm concerned.

The story shown so far looks really unappealing to me. I don't want to play as Locke and Master Chief on the run seems stupid. There's gotta be more interesting stories. Why couldn't they have just done a Marathon esque story have him and Cortanna stranded in some weird remote section of the galaxy facing new aliens and enemies and the trilogy is about him trying to make his way back home (which is at peace and rebuilding in the aftermath of the Covenant war). He could even save the universe and help people along the way.

I'm still not down to pre order. Which is a damn shame since every Halo before this I'm all over. I even enjoyed 4.
5's beta, and the chief collection though have left me in a wait and see. Which is alright too since I'll be hitting that MGS5 and MGO crack pipe hard probably from September to early 2016 anyways.

I hope Halo 5 is about space exploration, vicious alien foes and a super soldier kicking ass with his AI companion. Only then would it be a return to form.
