Lordy those trailers are cringe worthy.
Shocking really. From the beta, the game needed A LOT of work. Makes me worried to be honest, especially for the readiness of its multiplayer. I would rather have it later with more time if it means a better title.
Notice how in the locke trailer the master chief statue is intact, whereas in the chief trailer, it has its head blown off? Chief seems to mock locke when he states that locke completed his mission, but locke "completing" his mission in the chief's eyes seems to be destroying a statue in his image, or at least being responsible for the events that ultimately led to it happening.
.
Halo can't be dead.
two endings? branching storyline? Where's daddy arby? I wasn't prepared to be thinking this hard about a game I was already going to buy with launch being so far away.
It's kinda crazy that the next call of duty will launch a week or two later.
Yeah, why not have those expectations?
my first thought when the date showed. We will be playing Halo 5 this year. This is SUPER smart by Microsoft besides the interesting plot trailers.
Them confirming the release date is good against Sony and Nintendo who had both of their big exclusives get pushed back into next year. Not bad MS, not bad...
Yeah, why not have those expectations?
The big boys will steal the padding in your community, that's the problem, the glory days of having zero competition is over. Still think MCC should be fixed firstSeptember, October November... what's the difference?
It's a Halo game. No matter how badly 343 fucks it up, there'll realistically always be enough community to sustain everyone.
And while September may be better than October business-wise, I'll take a better polished October game than a business mandated "avoid the big boys"
Shocking really. From the beta, the game needed A LOT of work. Makes me worried to be honest, especially for the readiness of its multiplayer. I would rather have it later with more time if it means a better title. But yeah, 343 doesn't have a reputation for listening to fan feedback...
Lots of comments like this in here. It's a commercial for a video game, are people expecting Oscar worthy performances & production?
I know you're being probably facetious, but the real answer is that it just leads to being miserable and disappointed in everything, all the time.
Man, that dialogue was... rough.
I liked Locke's trailer over Chief's. I'm not used to Chief speaking in such...long sentences compared, even for Halo 4's standards. It's just a nitpick for me though it's all very interesting to me.
So hard for me to take Halo lore seriously when the aliens look like they jumped out of a kids tv show. For those who haven't seen it: The Halo 5 "teaser" in MCC.
Looks like i am buying an Xbox 1 in October 27.

I posted a thread about this a few months back. If you're interested to see GAF's take on it, have at it: http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=932425The whole 'humanizing Master Chief' thing by making him talk more... I don't like it. That's not him.
Also, I swear to God if they even TRY to turn Chief into another Halsey 'evil but good intentioned' person, I'm done.
Halo is dad. Picture to prove it:

When I was a kid? TMNT, Transformers, Batman but I get your point, still they look too ETlite for me.That's I uh.
What kind of kids' shows are you watching?
What is with people saying Battlefront is soon after? Unless Battlefront was some sales monster that for some reason took forever to get a third game, I think Halo is much bigger. I would also bet many Halo buyers won't move to CoD. They are very different games.
It's just a flesh wound!
