So I just made to
Cain Castle, but now I'm hearing you can propose to the queen??? Should I hold off on going forward until I get that ring??

Do the chalices you own reset like keys or are they permanent across ng+...? If the depth is the only thing determining difficulty and not NG count, then I might do the rest after finishing ng...

I don't think so, i still see my chalice dungeons opened up despite transferring to NG+ just now

When I am in the
Unseen village
do I have to
fight the 3 hunters where there used to be 2 sackmen near the lamp? Or am I going the right way?

Somone please help me with the Eileen the Crow quest!

I've just encountered her in Cathedral Ward, and she tould me about the hunter in the Odeon Tumb! She said that she's gonna kill the guy, so I should not go there!

Thing is... the guide says:

  • Make sure to Talk to Eileen again after opening the gate and then re-load the area before going to the Tomb of Oedon or Eileen will not be there.
  • The next step is to help with hunter encounter at Tomb of Oedon lamp to receive "Approval" Gesture.

I've came back to Hunter's Dream and then reloaded the Cathredal Ward, but she's still in the same place, and the hunter in Odeon is there alone.

What I need to do? Should I kill him, or she needs to be there?

Wait, so that was Eileen? She got fucking killed by the hunter in my game.

God dammit.

You'll get a crown after beating the boss of the castle. Wear the crown to see the queen's throne room in the boss room. You can then propose there.

They don't reset.

God, farming for potions/bullets between boss attempts is so annoying. I miss the estus flask.
Get good son.

Are you running past enemies? I find I only run out of vials and bullets when I'm running past enemies to get to a boss.

Farm Blood Echoes and buy your supplies instead

Much faster later in the game

Great. So it seems I messed up both Eileen's sidequest as well as the chapel one. I assume I'll have to send everyone possible to the chapel for it to work? Anyone care to give a list of the people you can send to the chapel in spoilers?

I'm fine with how vials work except for co-op. It doesn't replenish your vials from storage after a co-op session. It makes it annoying to help more than a couple of people at a time before warping back and forth.

Can someone tell me how to get this item in Cathedral Ward? It's up a few stairs from the lantern but I can't see any way to get to it.

Should I join her covenant or the religious dudes? Is it possible to do both within one run through?

Wondering. How do i get the
True Ending
??. I got
three cords
.

Plus can i get the
scythe
if i go for the
true ending
??

it consumes some extra materials and makes a different harder variant of the dungeon. For example in the two I tried:

Fetid dungeon - had lots of 'powered up' enemy types. They had the red aura that's normally given by the bell ladies.

Sinister dungeon - spawns a sinister bell lady, which means you could get invaded. I went afk for 20 minutes in one and got no invaders.

Presumably you also get better rewards. I got some cool runes out of the sinister one.

Interesting. Where do you get the materials to do these additional rites?

You can pick up vials and bullets as a co-op guest though. Depending on the boss, I can help out a ton of people before running out of either.

this second depth of the first chalice is already a noticiable step up. not that Im not one shotting enemies, but theres poison fuckers everywhere and shit, I cant imagine how the later ones are.

For those sleeping on the chalice dungeons...dont. This is not just a silly little endless mode, this is proper content. Its not even random like we thought months ago (although you can make special random ones), there is a proper path of progression through them. Very cool stuff

Wait till you get to Depth 4 dungeons, shit's crazy.

Man, if you guys haven't bothered at all. It's definitely worth it to put some points in arcane. At least 12. Beyond some good weapon's like Ludwig's scaling with arcane past a certain point, the spells are useful as fuck and only consume bullets which I stopped using by the end of the game anyway.

The weapon buff is seriously good and lasts a long time.

You're going the right way. Don't worry about them so much. If you can kill one in one encounter he wont respawn. I suggest bludgeoning the little naked one.

Treat it like Monster Hunter. Focus on learning the fight to not get hit instead of burning all your resources.

Wow, I just took a screenshot of this also to post here and ask how the hell to get this item. Trying to pick up as much as possible before NG+ and I still can't find a way to get this item.

I'm having real trouble with the First Chalice Dungeon First Boss
Undead Giant
. It seems to have massive range, is really hard to get behind and hits like a brick. :(

Quick question. After the cathedral boss there are two paths. One leads to the woods and the other seems to be a mountain path. I went down the mountain path killed the
two hunters
and then a tall enemy killed me which
transported me to a place called the Unseen Village
, is it a good idea to take this place on at level 39 or should I return via the lantern and go back to the woods first?

Go down Healing Church Workshop to the town part where there's one sack guy and some normal dudes and dogs and take a elevator around there to it.

It's nothing special though

It's really fast in the first area of the game. Those big dudes give 2 and the two wolves give 3 vials each, guaranteed,

need to go
from the elevator in the cathedral ward, once you in in the tower area, you have to go down in that area where you can fall to your death really easily. Basically it was supposed to be a way to get to the cathedral without spending 10,000.

Interesting. Where do you get the materials to do these additional rites?

Mostly in chalice dungeons - the sinister one was particularly strange. I needed to find an item in a chalice dungeon that allowed me to 'disenchant' extra ritual materials into 'arcane haze' for the sinister ritual.

I've gotten a few items from bosses and such in the main game. And you can buy some crap with insight but I don't know what triggers being able to buy it.

When you go into new game plus the Chalice Dungeons carry over, right? Do the enemies and bosses there also become more powerful from being in NG+ or is that just the enemies the main game?
