Just returned to the cathedral ward lamp and, shieeeet, another one of THESE guys
huge spider creature, you see after Rom
just outside the building.
 
Holy shit. My first two hours with this game man...jesus. Talk about mixed emotions. From ooooh I love the tone of this game, nice I killed a wolf mother fucker, these human type enemies aint so bad....no wait fuck off, stop killing me...ARRRGRGH stop it, man I suck at this game, OK be a little patient, I'm doing better, nice kill, got the big troll type enemy down to his knees, Oooh a secret sewer with new baller outfit and then not long after I feel fucking relief as I find the short cut gate so I don't have to keep going the long way around to the bridge.

I haven't even tried to face the boss on the bridge yet. My first Soulsesque experience is a good one so far.
 
Anyone got any tips for (location]the N
ightmare Frontier
after leaving the Lecture Hall? I can't find the Bell Maiden and the constant invaders are driving me nuts.

Reposting for a new page cuz I left a boss out.

Okay so I'm stuck. No idea where to go, I keep wandering aimlessly.

Here are the bosses I've beaten:

-Cleric Beast
-Father Gascione
-Blood Starved Beast
-Witches
-Vicar Amelia
-Tower Sniper (not a boss I know)

Anyone able to help me out?
 
The Forbidden Woods is fucking mental. Beat the boss first time though, woooooooooooo! I am level 61 though...

Also did the very first Chalice Dungeon you can do as a result of getting the Chalice from BSB (and having the right Mats). What level do they go up to per Chalice? I beat each boss first time without much trouble so I "completed" the third level of it and then there was nowhere else to go? I searched everywhere so I figured I completed this Chalice but if someone can confirm for me that would be great and I can return to it.

Go get yourself killed by one of those tall dudes that carry a sack over their shoulder as you'll get sent to a new area where you can fight another boss (and get a new weapon in the area).
 
Has anyone successfully used the make-shift ritual alter in the hunters dream? I've been sitting hear for like 10 minutes just to see if it actually works.
 
So uhhh does the doll disappear if you are too high of a level for the current content?

I've only beaten the 2nd boss but I am level 24 or so. She's not there anymore. I've just been exploring and looking for hidden paths.

She moves around sometimes. Check the hill path to the left of where you spawn.

guy. I was hiding in a corner right before you take that rickety bridge into his tower and some how the game let his bullets clip and kill me. I almost broke my DS4 from anger.

e: Always upgrade your weapons when you can, but you don't have to farm for upgrades specifically. I would explore more if you don't have 3x blood shards already.

Thanks, man. I think I'll upgrade it a bit and take out that giant rat in the sewers first. Gonna burn that fucker alive. I have 6 or 7 shards at the moment... Oh, god... destiny flashback... shards...

Cathedral ward lamp, go to big round plaza with two axe giants. Sideway there with door (password door). Hope you like snakes.

But I beat him in one go.

Chalice Dungeon is so addictive. I have to go deeper and deeper!!

Just beat Martyr Logarius on my 2nd try. First I just wanted to see what attacks he has and got wrecked. 2nd time though I parried his scythe slash over and over until he was pinned against the fence in the back right corner. Poor guy was stuck there between 2 objects so he couldn't circle around me. Just hacked away with R1 until he died. Didn't even attack once he got pinned in the corner. Never saw his magic sword attack.

Chalices are normally 3 levels, sometimes higher (lower Pthumerian is 4 levels for example). If there isn't anything past the final lamp then it's probably finished.
 
Some guy is asking me for a password....behind closed doors. Will I run into the password (story) or do I need to find it?

You are looking for the password door near cathedral ward lamp to continue the main story

it is near the bottom of the big stairs leading up to vicar amelia i believe
head out the gate at the bottom of the stairs and stay on the right through the first doorway (should be behind a big guy that just sits there after killing vicar amelia) then take the first left without dropping down and continue to the door

There are also i think 3 optional areas you could go to now
 
So I just finished my blind run and I missed a lot of stuff...

It's better to make a new character and do all the stuff or just rock NG+? I don't know if it's really hard

Hi,

I'm level 68 and I have 30 in vitality, 23 in strengh/skill and 11 in arcane. I was wondering if i could start switching to arcane (to wield and arcane weapon) or if it is too late ?
 
I am at a point where the game got really frustrating for me. Two bosses I can't beat:

Dark Beast Paarl and the fucking Rom (really bad designed bossfight imo).

Should I proceed in the
nightmare section
or what are my other options. I am level 48.

I REALLY hope they fix that boss moveset glitch if this patch didn't do that, since I missed out on a really great fight if I didn't go for the + playthrough.

1. What do you do with the
dead spider in the room where you fought Eberitas?
2. Where is the blood rock?

Both
Paarl and the nightmare are optional. If you want to continue you gotta beat Rom
 
So Ive been playing this for about 2 hours now and what makes this "hard" (aside from the 2-3 hit kills) is there are no checkpoints.

I cannot get passed the first area. Before I turned it off I was waiting for a couple baddies to walk by (after killing their dogs) when a big brutish thing snuck up behind me and bashed my head in, sending me all the way back to the lamp.

Im sure a lot of the fans will disagree but this game really needs checkpoints. Luckily I had the day off but had this been a work day I'd be pissed that my valuable gaming time was spent doing the same stretch of road and enemies 10 times in a row with little progess.

Most of the supplies are gone by now on my like 10th attempt. 1 molotov left and 5 blood viles. Bullets seem to be in good supply though.
 
Lol, so i invaded someone for the first time and it was the same thing as the dark souls games. A gank squad waiting for me.

There are ways to make it so you don't have to redo areas such as opening up shortcuts. You must of not got far enough to open one.
