Keep dodging to her rear-right. When she does one of the leaping smash attacks, immediately dodge to her ass and backstab the fuck out of it. If she staggers, run around to her face and get the visceral off. Dodge everything else and hope for the best

Yeah that boss was my primary issue so far (around 7 bosses in). Took me a couple of hours but probably cos I kept playing a bait game with her to make her leap so I get some easy hits in. Only ever worked until she went down to half-health and then she wouldn't fall for it anymore. My first attempt at sticking by her ass 100% of the time and BOOM, I merked her easily. Hogging her left side and she'll rarely ever use anything other than her basic two hit combo which is ridiculously easy to avoid.

Love the realizations you face in this game.

I got the carriage to come and I attacked one of the horses and they dissapeared! I thought I had fucked myself over from getting to the area forever but I just had to reload into the area and the carriage came again phew lol

So I was in Hemwick Charnel Lane running along the side of a roof and a monster comes out of hiding hits me and knocks me off the side into the water...lost around 40k echoes.

Question is when I go back to that spot will the blood stain be there on the ground/will the monster have them or am I screwed because I fell off the cliff into the water and died there?

AriAnna is right below you in the sewer. Just go past the chapel keeper, past the library room then you'll be in the sewer.

I believe you consume 3 umbilical cords then REFUSE so you can fight the final boss. I chose the first option and got fucked over.

OK so fuck the defiled chalice dungeons. I was stuck on one of the bosses there for hours. Finally got past it but ended up winning through a weird glitch. But you know what? Fuck it, we take those. It increases difficulty in a poor way imo.

Anyways I got the footage of the glitch. I got the boss at an angle that allowed it dodged back and get clipped into a pillar and trapped.

Its a chalice dungeon boss and is not a main game spoiler.

Yeah, its not really an end game boss, and I find it silly that everyone keeps calling it that If you find it endgame you will roadkill it.

Man, you straight-up don't understand this game's concept if you're complaining about the lack of blocking. That's kind of the freaking point to the combat system. You're supposed to dodge, and when hit, you're supposed to hit back right away to recapture a portion of your HP. It's a brilliant system that makes the combat so much more dynamic and fun.

I do miss the variety of weapons and armor from DS2. Never played any of the other ones.

+9, optional boss. Don't need to be too close. Just close enough to be in range to land the hit.

Eventually I'm going to get my Bloodtinge (currently at 20) to 40-50 and see what I can do with it then.
