I let out a scream when the first one attack me. The fucker was hiding and just jumped out of nowhere.

Embrietas
is annoying as hell. At this point it's incredibly frustrating to have to go farm Bullets/Vials every time I die, I don't know why they thought it was a good idea to implement a system like that.

Yup, I'm doing the exact same thing right now. Farming vials is getting super old.

I got Ludwig's blade and I get her to half her health...but that regen tho. the ludwig's strikes are relatively slow (one hand mode) and she fills her meter up. And dang, I lose 20 blood vials every fight! I go farm for more in Yharnam every time I die lol. That executioner troll always drops 3-4 vials.

Virca Amelia wasn't that troublesome for me.

My fight with her was like:
Wait for jump attack, roll to one side, try to hit her arm as much as you can(it prevents her from healing). When she has both of her arms damaged, and you hit both legs, she will laydown, and then, do a visceral damage at her head.

What's the order most people do with bosses?

Vicar Amelia was my third boss.

i finally read up on Chalices and it appears it requires grinding for materials to make dungeons. i had no idea. this is gonna be a pain for that trophy....

Finally tried a chalice dungeon. Is there any notification when a chalice is "completed"? I cleared the third floor of the first chalice you get and it doesn't look like there's anywhere else to go. Do I just remove it from the gravestone now or am I blind?

Should end up fighting a boss on the lowest floor. If it's depth 3 then the third floor etc, in a large room (usually) and there's no where else to go, that's it. Go on to the next one.

I'm at a loss. Can anyone here come help me in co-op with the final boss (
Gehrman
)? I'm lv80, and I've been at this fight for two days straight. Password is 'mattie'.

Ok, just curious how to get an item on a corpse in F
orgotten
W
oods
. It is in the S
nake
section. After you drop down off of the broken tree limb to get an item, if you look up and to the left there is another item on a corpse on a higher ledge, I've been all through that area and can't figure out how to get up there to get that item. It is eating at me :)

Thanks

I think you have to make a run + jump attempt

Giant magic house centipede with long ass feelers
? Yeah fuck that. Luckily it's easy to kill because it has a shit turning radius. But holy hell does looking at it drain my real-life sanity meter.

Vicar Amelia was my third boss.

Cleric --> Gascoigne --> BSB --> Her for me.

I personally found BSB to be a great deal more intimidating to fight than her, considering his poisonous attacks.

I got him AI stuck somehow. I was using the Kirkhammer 1 handed sword. He would do his scythe swing where he would swing up and down really fast(if it hits you it traps you in an animation). I'd backstep it, and then R2 him once, and he'd do that move again, rinse and repeat. I literally did that the whole fight and he never moved on to his next phase.

I just downed my 4th boss as well and probably about the same time as you. I'm really loving this right now.

Yeah, most games I just rush through these days. Bloodborne is the exception. Some days I wish I could erase my memory and play Dark Souls again. That first playthrough feeling just can never be replicated, so I like to savor it.

Okay I've hit a dead end here folks please help. I got to the cathedral district and have seemingly run out of places to go... If I go straight it's a dead end and when I go left I've managed to traverse all the way through the chapel and onto the area with the guy with the Gatling gun. I killed that gun dude but now I'm not sure where to go... Help would be appreciated...

I'm reading spoilers regarding side quests that are missable, but I'm not past the point of no return yet,
beating rom
. Can somebody tell me where to find these side quests so I don't miss it before I beat him?
specifically Eileen? Maybe something else

I was rocking a +8 ludwigs sword, ashen armor set for the frenzy resist (or church clothes for poison), and I think I was a level 65.

I'm at 50 so that probably says a lot more me.

By the way who is this
Eileen
people keep mentioning and why haven't I seen her yet? I'm in the F

Ditto on both points.

I think ordering kind of depends on whether you spent 10k on the key. If you didn't then the natural order is to do BSB before VA.

When I say everywhere near the Cleric Beast, I mean like..
I've been past the dog cages, found the first friendly NPC, found that ginormous boar in an underground tunnel and got to the bit in the sewers where you get ambushed by a man-beast at the end. That must be a decent chunk?

you have too little faith in the scale of this game lol

What's the last boss you beat?

There's a boss in Old Yharnam if you keep going. Otherwise if you don't fight that boss you have to buy a key from the store for 10k echoes to go through a door in the Cathedral Ward

Have that be a toggle then. People always wonder if they'll add an 'easy' mode to the next Souls game. I want that.

Yes, bosses would be less intimidating but, when the time to load back into the game is half the length of a boss-run, I think it's time that you respected the player's time. Yes, people playing are willing to invest dozens of hours, but that doesn't mean that a good portion of said investment should be spent on nonsense.

Some of us have jobs, families etc. Those saved minutes here and there really add up.

I have a job family, etc as well. I disagree with you, it wouldn't be a Souls game if they did all that. Play something else if you feel that the game doesn't respect your time.

Can you even ring a bell and co-op in the Dream? I'm starting to feel like it's off limits for that.

So I got the patch but it feels like my damage has been downgraded am I crazy?

Lowly lvl 27 hunter here... Looking for a three way with the Father. Anyone interested in some fun?

Edit: No longer need.... I know the offers would have came rolling in.

Eileen is your hunter friend/guide/master.

You can find her after you kill the dogs in cages, near Yharnam bridge, you go down, there's a stair and at the right side, a lot of destructible barrels are positioned in front of a door/passage. Enter that door/passage, and the right side of this area, has another door/passage. There you will find Eileen.

SUPER DUPER SPOILER
Later you will find her fighting a hunter, and you must help her kill that hunter. But please, don't hit her. You could kill her... I killed... and don't know the damage it will cause...
