The
blizzard is super telegraphed and you can see it coming a mile away, you just run in 1 direction and it never hits you.

Thats what I did in NG and it was easy. But NG+
they were tracking completely differently and hitting me at a full sprint directly away from him and all kinds of shit. Had to resort to rolling like a mofo and get a bit lucky

At the risk of being accused of being a "Internet badass" or something, I wondered if my
Rom
was bugged the way so many people have trouble on him, then I got him in chalice dungeon again and it was still super easy so /shrug

The
spiders die in 1 or 2 hits when you hit them from the side (as you should)

The
aoe hurts a lot but that's why you go in, take a couple of pokes and run out.

Sure the whole fight takes awhile if you're
clearing the spiders
but it's super safe.

I don't remember the other games having this disparaty in what bosses people had a hard time with :(

Your second spoilers point is simply not true
he leads the shot and the shot hits a large area
I found the easiest way to dodge it is actually look up at the sky when you see him casting it

WTF, beat Rom and waste a Hunter's Mark trying to get back to a lantern so I don't lose my 22k+ echoes, but
I get sent back to where I spawned in that chapel with Amygdala. I then run back to the Grand Cathedral lantern, but it seems some shit took place there and it didn't seem safe to go inside. I had to run all the way back to the Cathedral Ward lantern and I almost thought I couldn't go there either since there's another Amygdala thing over it.

Need some solid advice on my build.

Level 22

Vit 14
End 14
Str 17
Skill 14
Bloodtinge 6
Arcane 7

Currently at the Cathedral Ward, and I guess I'm just going for a meat clever like build. Where should I go from here?

YESSSSSSSSSS

fuckin E
brietas
finally down with some help

...even though they died at the last second

That sucks, but there's a lamp when you beat Rom...in Moonlake lol

Game finally beaten, got the
good
ending? Used my
cords and beat the last 2 bosses,
onto NG+! So far, its probably my favorite in the "Souls" series.

Final play time: 48 hours, 11 minutes and 43 seconds, none of that afk or anything.

I'm only right at the beginning in Yarnham, but after I kill those regular towns folk around the fire, do I take on the big giant thing slamming on the door, or the other one on the other side of the level with the big cleaver? Or do I need to be a higher level for it? I don't think I've leveled up once yet.

The giant one banging on the door is very manageable even early. Just remember to charge attack.

I wouldn't recommend the cleaver giant though: he's a totally whole different league compared to what's nearby the area.

I haven't tried ng+, I'm assuming people with trouble are talking about ng tho

Anyone available to help kill the
blood starved beast
with me on my cane run? I really hate this weapon and need to get this boss down to just switch to Ludwig's Great Sword. Help me GAF! My bell has run down there but no one is calling!

Well I found E
ileen and she's attacking me inside the grand cathedral. Guess I fucked up on her sidequest down the line. She's tough as hell though, so I'll have to leave that alone for now.

Lord, what a night. Beat
Ameila, Paal
and worked my way through most of
Forbidden Forest
. Also, killed the two
hunters to the right of Amelia
and got through
Lecture Hall
. Took about 5 steps into that
Nightmare
place and noped on out for the night. Oh, fought and beat the
hunter who was attacking Eileen, or whatever her name is.

This game. Damn.

Any tips in deafeting
blood starved beast?

I'm certain I can beat him, he doesn't feel as hard as
clerek beast

I'm at level 27.

lol

2 shot s
hadow of yharnam
1 shot r
omalon
all tonight. woot woot

so far

2 shot CB
4-5 shot FG
1 shot BSB
1 shot VA
1 shot WH

W
itches
was a pretty easy fight, would have 1 shot but got caught off guard with the
immobilizing spell and got my throat slit.
That surprise only works once. Runes seem pretty cool now.

Not true? First of all, thanks for calling me a liar. Second, watch any video of it. Hell watch the video posted on the same page. Dude gets hit once because he spazzes out on the dodges (lol) and the rest he just runs / rolls forward as they come. Unless you are standing still, or playing muted for example (since yiu can also hear them coming) I don't see how they would hit you, they fall on where you were, not where you are. And I'm a old man, I got fuck all reflexes lol :)

Keep antidotes handy, of course.

If you are comfortable parrying, his right hand attack is very easy to pull off, otherwise always dodge towards and to the left. You will end up behind it with an opening for a few hits. It is weak to fire.

I just accidentally hit the
glowing lady
before he
nurse
boss. Did i fuck up?

Nah. If you don't,
you can go back down and she bows and fucks off.

Well I found E
ileen and she's attacking me inside the grand cathedral. Guess I fucked up on her sidequest down the line. She's tough as hell though, so I'll have to leave that alone for now.

Circle strafe her as she throws poison darts at you and misses, that's what I did

Made it inside
Byrgenwerth and got to the lookout and decided to kill Willem. Don't know if it was the wrong decision or not, but he dropped a really good rune and some even more lore on it. God damn it the lore in this game is so good.

is that the guy on the swing chair ?

I'll be right there if you still need help!

Finally got credits rolling after two days on the last fight, and I actually got the 'true' ending too.

One way I think this one can be considered a total improvement over the last games is soundtrack. The end theme from DS2 was beautiful, but the entire game here was filled with such haunting and memorable themes. I love the Hammer Films influence in there too.

So (mid/late game boss spoiler) I'm not crazy
Gharman
is crazy fucking hard right? Like the hardest boss in the game by orders of magnitude up to this point, right? Give me some assurance here that I'm not just terrible and everyone had a hell of a fucking time with him.

Amazing boss, really fun to fight, but I'm going on 40 tries on him. I one shotted the boss right before him, too.

God damn.

Has anyone checked out the healing potential of Choir Bell?

How big is the effect of the blood sheath?
Its blood sheath, atleast for PVP, is the shit.
When transformed, all of the damage is pure Blood Damage so it goes through shit tons of resistances in pure S scaled glory.

Yeah it does seem that way. Maybe there's a bug like the W
et Nurse

Or
Micolash
? People having a hard time with him and I thought he was a joke boss

Literally. I dont mean he was so easy he was a joke, I mean when I killed him I kept expecting the real boss to crash down or something, so I assumed he was just a joke boss, just From having some fun.

The only thing he did to me when I caught up to him was try to punch me a few times, so I Ludwig'ed him 4 or 5 times and he just died, almost like a normal enemy.

But then again that would mean
Rom
was "bugged" for me in chalice too because I also thought he was easy there. I would love to know exactly if there is a bug out there making bosses do less moves
