I was just thinking this when I went into NG+, what happens?

I just lost a couple hours of progress.
Elevator was stuck in the down position so I couldn't get to the boss. The lever said the device was inoperable and when I did use it nothing happened. No amount of zoning or exit/reloading helped. Had to roll back to a cloud save :\
Umm...
I just beat Don my first attempt. I thought I would get crushed judging by all the horror stories I've read in this thread :/arkbeast Paarl

Quoting for new pageShould I just use the tearstone and red brooch?
Watching others struggle gives me the urge to struggle in this game.
Watched the level 4 streamer again last night, he was trying so hard on E. I didn't stick around to see if he defeated her, but I hope so. Really enjoyed watching that the past couple of nights.brietas
Switched it up to a dude doin some Chalice Dungeons, and he was mad confident about killing everything... until he popped into the fog, and got the ABbhorrent! haha dude couldn't get within any sort of range, got owned a good 10 times before he said "fuck it" This guy straight cheesed the beast down with his pistol. Was laughing so hard, and happy for him at the same time.east
All that got me motivated to play, and I basically farmed some blood vials, and got owned for 3-4 hours of DParkbeastattempts. I only got him to half health like twice... I'm level 30 now, and I don't wanna ring that bell. I've been playing completely offline to avoid frame rate issues, ever since my first trip in Old Yarhnam, and I'd like to stay that way, but this boss is crushing.aarl
If you wanna know how to easily beat Micolash...Turn right and go up the stairs as soon as you enter the boss room, take the next first right and clear out the two skeletons in this room. Now exit and go up the stairs to your right all the way up to the fog door. From here turn left and run to the end, then you should see him down the stairs, follow him straight into the little room where you killed the skeletons. They may or may not respawn while you fight him. At 50% health when he takes off, just follow, you go through the fog door and eventually end up chasing him to a room where he jumps down, then runs to another room and closes a gate, as long as he is headed toward that you can just take a detour and go up again, at the top of the stairs turn right and there should be a ledge you can walk on against the wall with a door there, drop down on top of him. He will follow the exact same route every time if you do it this way. You can skip every single add in the maze with the exception of those two in the room. When he casts his aoe attack just dash toward him while locked on, if you do it right you get invincibility frames through the whole thing and take no damage. Sounds harder than it is, once someone here told me the dodging toward him part I beat him first try.
As long as you stay close to the boss, the boss will only use theattack and punches.tentacle
This is what i did:Hit -> avoidattack and punches(but staying close to the boss) ->Repeat.tentacle
The boss will not useattack at all, if you are keeping a short distance!magic
Can't he just vanishes when you hit him, lmao. That bastard. First thing I tried in NG+. He will come back though, and not aggressive either.
I can't find Ethe Cileen. I've completed central yharnam, cathedral ward, old yharnam and hemwick charnel. I looked for her in Cathedral Ward but can't find her in her usual spot and she's not on central yharnam.row
Did I miss her completely and irreversibly now? :/
Your level can really skew the outcome of that fight.

I feel your pain, same for me.;__;
FYI, you don't need to kill Paarl toI'm savingfor last on my current character. I'm going to smash his fucking face in at level 100.Paarl
You don't really need him for anything significant as far as I know. You get a shortcut that lets you befriend gatling gun guy, but fuck that guy. Climb up the ladder and dash through his shotgun blast, then R1, R1, fall to your death bye bye.
Seems that way. I was level 60 and was doing a lot of damage
ROM is fucking me
The cynic in me thinks these are hooks for future DLC.I never noticed. But so far there's a lot of unexplained stuff in this game. Top of my head
-Door in the cathedral ward.
-That hatch.
-The marriage ring.
-Beastform.
I beat this guy on my second attempt and I don't really get why people consider it so hard. It seems like it's just a matter of hanging back and waiting for the spiders to leave an opening that you can dash through and land a couple of hits before rolling away. The blue meteor things seem totally dodgeable if you're rolling to the right.
In fairness, I did this fight at about level 80. Good chance I was just over-leveled since I could take a couple of sloppy hits and still get away to heal up if needed.

Seems pretty difficult to get summoned on this, just sat atwaiting. Although it's a nice easy fight for souls. The One Reborn

I 2 shot him the first time i killed him, then on my second playthrough after 6 or 7 attempts i didn't get him below 75% health. Depending of what order his attacks come out in, he can be a pain.
