And she's down :D

PSA: Uncanny Burial Blade from Lower Loran dungeon "kkqmduet" in the first bonus area even before the 1st lantern on layer 1. To meet the requirements to open the glyph you need to create a Lower Loran dungeon yourself, enter it, and maybe kill a boss in it (not 100% sure since I cleared everything up to the last boss before testing the glyph again).

Is the weapon Flamesprayer any good? Worth me upping my arcane a level to use?

Also, is the Kirkhammer any good? I might spend my spare echoes on it.

Abhorrent beast down. Damn that was tough.

Tried to get the Beast Claws through a shared Ailing Loran chalice. My friend said it was on the second layer, but all I found was a super rare gem from the hunter. Are the beast claws random even when it's a shared chalice that previously had it?

I started my first Depth 4 Chalice Dungeon. The amount of echoes you get is actually really good. It's about time. I still don't like them very much though. Besides looking almost identical to one another, they're just really lonely. I miss all the messages on the floor and the specters. I guess I'll try summoning in them.

Is the
witch boss
supposed to be hard? I sort of yawned. Easiest boss so far. I think I only got hit once.
It's pretty easy, yes. It can only fuck you up when you don't see the second
witch and search for the first one only. The second one will shortly revive the first one when it dies and they will start shooting these magic traps at you. This makes you easy pray for these other guys who also walk around
.

Do we know how much (if) enemy damage/health stacks with insight? My insight is 48 and the game is haaaaaard.

Fucking
Logarius
is an SNK fighter final boss level scumbag. Took 2 shots but he reached deeeeep within the inner sanctum of his asshole to steal that first victory, and almost did it the second fight. Seriously, fuck that guy.

HOLY SHIT @ the amount of souls I get from this chalice dungeon! 50k souls in ~ 3 mins, no extra souls runes or anything and just killing enemies normally. It's hard as hell tho regular enemies hit like bosses lol.

Ok what level was it and can you warp back to the dream to and from a CD and use them to farm? I need about 20 more levels before I go through the village...

Isn't that the boss from the project beast trailer? Oo

So let me summarize:

You cant teleport to Grand Cathedral
You teleport to Cathedral Ward instead and walk to Grand Cathedral
You arrive at Grand Cathedral and there is nothing that catches you eye?

Aside from
it being night now
, there is nothing there.

i thought he was fun. but the runback was fucking ridiculous.

Matchmaking feels busted as shit. Sometimes I find people immediately, sometimes I just can't find anyone. Stuck on Micolash on NG+. He keeps blasting me with all these nearly unavoidable light beam things when he's near dead and killing me in a single hit. Called in help multiple times but they always died before he even reaches the second half of the fight. Fucking newbs.

Optional stuff aside, you can fight the last boss after that one.
I don't think I've done all the side stuff. At least not
Cainhurst, which should be open to me, right? Also haven't faced Martyr Logarius or whatever, unless he's the last boss. I also haven't been in that locked door in the black church workshop.
guess I've got some exploring to do.

That entirely depends on who your 3rd boss was. I'd suggest either
getting the 10k souls key from the shop or going right through the closed door that's now open in the chapel if the boss you killed was BSB.

Going up the tower requires a key I don't have. Going down leads me to falling to death.

:(

lots of content left.

Was there something a the entrance of the Cathedral? Right in front of the door, after the stairs?

Sometimes the lamps just get bugged. After I helped E
ileen
where you fight F
ather
G
ascoigne
that lamp stopped functioning for me.

Well, Shit. (Ending Stuff)
I messed up getting the best ending. Couldn't get the 3rd cord. So I decided to just do the bad ending and shoot for the other on my second playthrough. Bad ending isn't really that bad I guess, just feels wrong not having a final boss.

Anyway, started up a new character and wow, I can't believe how tough I thought the beginning was. I'm speed-runnin' this shit.

I'm guessing he means the harder Chalice Dungeons, like Depths 4 and 5. Everything before gives a pretty bad amount of echoes, though 3 might be decent depending on your level. You can keep warping back to get them to respawn.

One shot as in beat him first try

Ah gotcha, I thought a OHKO from the player seemed crazy for this kind of game (unless you soul glitch DS or DS2 and attack the first boss anyway.) Had a fair few of them myself in this game which kind of makes me wonder, what's the verdict on difficulty? Is it the easiest of all the souls games? I've not had to take on a single boss more than five times so far and I've got through at least half of them, then a further half of that without a single loss. It actually feels kinda easy for what's essentially a souls game at heart because I suck at them but I'm doing way too good at this one for what I've come to expect from myself.

I've played a bit on a new character, and yeah, the game is super brisk if you know to do, but very satisfying at the same time.

I spent hours backtracking because I thought for sure I should have the rune workshop tool by now. I looked everywhere, and could not find it. Then I decided to give up backtracking and I found it was
right after the witch. I just never went all the way down the hall after I beat her.
What a waste of time. :(
