Run past them all and take a right out of the cathedral, run down that long path and try to snag one of them at a time. If you use the hunter axe its a joke. Just charge that r2 and nail em with the tail end over and over.

Man I was trying to make sure that I did everything my first playthrough so my second would be for funsies, then I realized i completely missed Paarl. It's like the only thing I missed besides the true final boss. Where do you even find it?

Oddly enough, I stopped on
Ab. Beast
. Died to him once, waiting to get that Saw Cleaver +10 for the extra 20% beast dmg.

Excited to do Defile dungeon and the Great Isz one.

To be fair! I finished an exam week 2 days after BB came out, so I've been rocking the shit out of it since classes/homework is slow atm.

:P

That and I fucking LOVE Souls games.
 
On my second playthrough now (not NG+, different character) and one-shotted Cleric Beast and Father G. Cleric Beast is expected by Father G took me like five hours the first go around. I'd say I'm already seven hours ahead of my first run.

Now that's what I call leveling up
 
Question about Adella.
Arianna is at Chapel and so is Adella. Just killed Rom - went to Chapel and not sure if required to kill Adella or not (will she always kill Arianna?)

You can sneak up behind the one on the stairs and visceral attack him. I believe the other will agro if you go too far up the stairs though so be careful. After you take him down try to sneak up behind the naked one in the middle visceral try to take him out as quick as you can if possible. The other one will be hot on your ass. Good luck. That shit was a headache for me haha

Unseen Village. Either by being captured by the sack people or when you run through later in the area with the 3 hunters, he's downstairs through the jail area.

Oh okay didn't know that. I just beat him, by only parrying him. Wasn't too hard when I just let him try to attack me.

It'll probably be better if you ring your bell *not* near the boss area but rather perhaps on the round plaza down below, since I think people are required to hang around nearby where you are to join your game, and by hanging down on the plaza you're bound to find more people, I think, since generally it'll be easier for folks to reach that areaa.

holy shit im about to flip. Walked up to him and started beating the shit out of him...some random enemy comes up behind me, kills me. I get
teleported to some optional boss, kill it, come back. Arianne is dead

Can enemies hurt each other? I'm not sure what happened, but while going through
Mergo's Loft Middle one of the pigs died while I was running past them to kill the Chime Maiden.
Best I can figure is that they were killed by the
flame magic that that one enemy has.

Unseen Village/revisit to Yharg'ul Chapel
is a terrible terrible level.

I'm really not enjoying myself. Any tips on
a) the fucking Chapel assholes b) WHERE IS THE FIRST BELL MAIDEN and c) actually getting to and fighting the One Reborn?
 
So a friend of mine was the EU Producer on Bloodborne - I've let him know about the elevator glitches (shown him the video of it happening to me in
Unseen Village
and have told him about other occurrences in
forbidden woods
).

FROM are now aware of the issue and will hopefully try and see if it's reproducible and therefore fixable.

Get your discovery as high as you can. Use the two 'Eye' runes. Farm the
Blue eyed werewolves at the Upper Cathedral ward. Kill all 5, then port back using bold hunter marks.
They have the chunks as rare drops. Easily the best area due to the concentration of mobs in a relatively small area, no additional enemies you need to fight (beside one
squidface
who may join the fun when you're dealing the the initial trio.

There are two other mobs with rare drop chunks.
The gargoyles at Cainhurst (very rare, never seen one myself) and the lone giant in the 2nd floor of the Lecture building.

with the amount of enemies in that area, there was no reason to have them respawn infinitely except for trying to crush our souls.
 
How the hell do people get the platinum so quick. If i understand this correctly,
you have beat the game 3 times as well as the chalice dungeons...

Do NOT fight anything in that level. Just run past. Takes a minute to run from the second lantern to the boss. The only thing worth stopping for in that level is the upper workshop key.
 
Finished everything in the main game but definitely missed a couple of personal quests early on. And I barely touched chalice dungeons, so it's a long wait to go. I have minor annoyances with the game, mostly about how armors are handled and some throwaway bosses here and there, but level design, world, atmosphere and lore are so fucking good.
I'll wait for the honeymoon period to be over before making a definitive call but it could be my favorite after Demons Souls.

thanks...the save on there was from quite a while ago, but at least I got everything back to the way i want it. Shouldnt be hard to get back what I did
