I just saw the path to the right. I'll try to make this one. I really don't care about the echoes anymore. I just want to get out of this fucking place =)
Once I got it and upgraded my strat was to get the boss to about 40% and then unleash the cannon... That way you avoid the "second" phase of the boss. Not exactly in keeping with the Souls tradition, but give a man a cannon and he's gonna use it.

If you missed it for now, just ignore it. When you get later in the game, it's pretty hard to miss. Like, youll have to walk by it effectively
I mean, you may have found a worse bug than my non-functional boss-shortcut elevator.
How these manged to get through testing.... yeeesh. Game breaking almost.

My bad, I meant that FW leads to B. But yeah, there is that shortcut that you knew about.
First mobs are the hardest in the place, run past them and you should be golden until the boss

Nah. Don't worry about timers on areas, they don't exist, and it's painfully obvious when you're at the point of no return
But yeah, the trick to that is run by them and get the items, then run past them. They're ridiculously hard for the effort for most people, and I'd suggest you run by them, they are next to never worth your time. Inside the castle is easier.
You have to be technically very good. There's no time to back away and rest because of the projectiles. But my main issue was that he was hard to hit with the damn saw spear...
One of the easiest fights for me. Lasted about 45 seconds.
Hm, I was able to buy more for 10 insight each at the store.

Think the difficulty of that fight matters on 2 things.
1. Does she bug out?
2. Do you have a gun that does damage?

I just beat boss
and I'm lvl 32 with the following stats:
Vitality 19
Endurance 16
Strength 20
Skill 13
Bloodtinge 7
Arcane 7
I have the Ludwig's Holy Blade at +3 and only 2 twin blood stone shards so can't level it up more yet.
Any advice on what I should use my 15,000 echoes on? Focus on levelling up?

Sorry, I waited about 15 minutes and then tried shutting down the system for a bit to see if that would fix the connection issues.

Be sure to buy some blood vials (unless you're already sitting on 70+ in stock). I think a lot of people aren't proactive enough with purchasing blood vials so they eventually run out. Like, if your 15k echoes lets you level up three times, maybe just level up twice and dump everything else into vials. A little forward thinking can save your ass in the long run.

My last playthrough I went 1 in each main stat Vit, End, Str. I ended the game with 29/29/29/-/-/15 @ lvl 72
(15 arcane for the weapon buff that I can't think of the name)
Keep in mind Endurance caps at 40 basically. Vit softcap at 50, same with Str/Skl.
No bugs. I just stood behind her between her two slug legs and did charged r2 attacks with the holy sword while rolling around . Once she started her lighting attacks i just kept my distance, used ash on the gun and shot her about 5 times to finish the rest of her off.

I did love it, but I did fuck up my left analog stick on that final boss.
This is what did it for me....
wait until slightly under 50% and then 2x Cannon + Bone Ash, free visceral after and then mash R1 until dead.
Yeah, if I can't get any other lamp to function will be forever stuck in here. Maybe that's the reason this place is called a nightmare. =)

Make sure you've unlocked the 10k echo gate.
