Bloodborne |OT3| I Cane, I Saw, I Conqu- YOU DIED

Up to the point of no return. The end is nigh.

ergo
were stupidly easy to beat. Especially the former. One of the easiest in the entire game.

Before I do the final boss I'm going to hit up the Chalices. On the 3rd (Lower Pthumeru) atm. All piss easy right now but I know I'm in for some legit shite later on. Can't wait.

The queen trophy wasn't too bad, defiled dungeons the most painful by far. I just have the true ending trophy for plat so I pretty much have it now. I can just cruise my way to the last boss on ng+, no rush now.

The former is more of a story boss than a challenge. The latter should have been a little challenging. Did
the screen eventually fill with purple fog and multiple of them attacked you at once?
if not, you got the glitched version.

Blood-Starved Beast
....Kind of forgot about the whole poison thing there at the end...Prey slaughtered promptly followed by you died, at least I did it lol. Took 3 tries and wasnt as hard as first 2 bosses I don't think.
 
wow. is this defiled chalice for real? fighting the abhorrent beast twice was bad enough, but damn.

doesn't help that i've never once had anyone respond to my bell. :(
 
Love the game but i wish it had a separate save file beside the auto save cuz i hate using half my blood vials on a boss thinking i got him all figure out but end up dying by a stupid mistake. And you respawn with only your remaining # of blood vials. Hate farming for vials. So to remedy this, i figure out a way: Before fighting a boss seriously, exit the game and copy your bloodborne save files to a usb stick (or online drive if you have PS plus). Now if you use all you vials and wants to load back that previous save file. Just copy and overwrite your current save with your usb save files or your PS plus save file. Ta-da. Wish i knew this sooner.

Exact same thing happened to me although it took me at least 6 tries to kill that SOB.

And this has never happened in a Souls game before. Bosses being 'baited' into doing the same move, over and over again, is an AI glitch regardless. They should be mixing it up.

It was doing that in the chalice dungeon for me but I think that's more to do with it not having the room to do the running attack. Pretty much got all my damage from parrying that claw swipe lol

haha, brilliant. Wish I knew this yesterday. I was stuck on a boss for hours.

Yeah but running around worked a treat during that section as they can't hit you (if they teleport next to you then a quick roll works before you continue on with the running). Then it goes back to normal and the boss's easy-to-dodge moveset = straightforward victory.
 
Just finished it, what a ride!

kinda lame all the trophies don't unlock if you get the best ending from the get go, doubt I ever bother with those, TBH.
 
Goodness I feel so blessed to be able to play this game. So much fun.... Made it to the
cathedral
now. Can only wonder bout what horror awaits

Well I mean, sure, but it's still to easy. I try to keep it in the 90s for the mental satisfaction of the difficulty, but it doesnt do too much for me. Oh well. Doomed to easyness. DLC come quicker, please. And be cruel.

I don't have proof of it or anything but some bosses did seem pretty easy and I had my PS4 on for over 6 hours.

This could be just pure coincidence though. My guy could have been over levelled or I could have gotten lucky or anything in between

You can farm an entire stack (20 on you and 99 in storage) in like 10 minutes. 15 tops.
 
So I have a very stupid and specific question. Backstory of events that I hope helps:

After killing the witch boss(es?) I spoke to a hunter outside the Cathedral Ward's front entrance. She had a funky long-nosed mask. Later I wandered back into the area where you fight Gascione. except now there were two hunters there. The one I had talked to before (I think she is Eileen the Crow) and another who was immediately aggressive towards me. I killed the stranger hunter and then Eileen started talking. Figured there'd be some story time so I began setting the controller down to listen, when the floor tapped R2 and I accidentally hit her. Then she called me a drunken fool and started going apeshit on me. I feel like I was about to get something good... Now I obviously don't want to fight her. Every time I go back to the area she goes apeshit again on me until I leave.

My question is:
Is there some way to remove my sin, like in Dark Souls? Or can I just avoid her and keep her alive until (what I assume) will be future event time?
 
Okay guys I think I screwed myself.... I just defeated that blood thirsty beast or whatever but shortly after I killed him I died from his poison and didn't get the opportunity to pick through is blood covered corpse... anyways now I have no idea where to go and usually your able to loot the corpse of the boss to get a key or something. ..

Can I refighat him or something?

Perhaps some sort of gesture could help out, but I think you're basically screwed.

No way to gain forgiveness and reset an NPC as far as I know. She had a questline but you can do anything since you aggro'd her. Just kill her so you can get her gear.

Did you go back to the area? If you killed him the drop should be there
 
Alright, done for tonight. Did a bunch of stuff in Central Yharnum. Opened up the
Kennel Shortcut
and the
Dark House shortcut
and I'm about to go into the sewers.

Those huge guys totally own me though. I only beat that one hammer dude pounding on the door by Oil Urn/Molotoving him. Any suggestions for those guys?
 
So did we ever figure out if arcane scaling on a weapon like the Kirkhammer or Ludwigs sword actually increases damage? I'd like to know before dumping a bunch of points into arcane.

Parry them, your riposte will nearly kill them. I idiotically wasnt doing this until I basically was done with the area.

And wait wait wait- you start posting in this thread when this is the first day I literally force myself to basically stop posting 24/7 (when awake? Sometimes asleep :P)

I've definitely parried them a couple of times. But that first sword guy near the beginning of Central Yharnum fucks me up after I parry him. :P I also saw two of those hammer guys in that balcony area and noped the fuck out.
