Well, I beat
Blood-Starved Beast
, and now I'm not sure where I should be going. Don't know whether I should be buying the key from the messengers in the Dream or trying to descend into the pit in the
healing church workshop

I did end up dying to the
sack man
in the Cathedral ward. That was a fun experience.

Nothing seems to work with
Ebrietas
stuck on her for days. Every other boss is down but this, such bullshit.

avoid locking on to her and stick as close to her as possible while trying to circle behind her. once she gets to her second form whenever you see a blue light forming above her start rolling like a mad man in order to avoid the 3 volleys she sends out.

So I forgot to pick up the living string, started another new game and am now at the last chalice dungeon...what's the fastest route to get back to the living string?

I think you have to get the living string from Mother Brain before you can buy it from the Insight shop, so you'd have to get to that point by just going down the critical path of the main story.

Not sure how I feel about grinding the Chalice dungeons to find the end game runes and bloodshards. I'm pretty stoked to have found a 15% health rune in my current dungeon though!

Man...
Cainhurst Castle
is a great optional area. Getting there was worth it and I really liked the cutscene leading up to it. This area would've been DLC or something in another game.

I think this is because the Chalices at Depth 5 are harder than the main game, but maybe not as hard as NG+++ .

(This is speculation because I've only just started NG+ and depth 4.)

Anyone know what to do with these 3 bitch ass Hunters in
Unseen Village Chapel
? It's starting to really piss me off get stun locked and can't even dodge out of the way.

E
breitas
has my number. Can't figure out a reliable way of A) staying behind her, or B) dodging her charge attacks which always nick you with a tantacle. Her attacks seem to have near-360 coverage around her body.
And don't get me started about the homing lasers.
I've never survived one.

"Giant enemy that attacks everywhere at once" is my least favorite kind of boss.

Can anyone tell me what just happened?

After I unlocked the G
rand
C
athedral
area:
I went to a side area, killed two armored troll things with axes and then went into a room, some crazy huge apparition grabbed me and gave me frenzy, then I died.
I have no idea what that was about. Seems really fucking cheap.

It's a story related thing that you just haven't unlocked yet. You can actually survive it too with high enough HP.

Holy shit, this A
mygdala
boss. Am I really going to have to hack off its health 60 pts at a time? Makes no difference whether it's the whipe cane or bolt mace, my damage output is pathetic. Am I missing something?

There're 2 cheap ways:

Either lure 2 of them to the cells below(lock yourself inside one and they can't hurt you so you can hit them with the threaded cane for example) or lure 2 of them to the lamp room before.Only one of them will make it through(if both of them enter, exit the lamp room and try again). The other guy will get stuck outside unable to enter and you can hit him with the cane again.Finish the 3rd guy normaly at the original room.

I had trouble with the suggested way of circling behind her, so I decided to stay in front of her at medium distance, trying to bait her longer smash. Then I would chip away at her, and sometimes do some damage to her sides whenever I happened to roll there and she was recovering from an attack.

The lasers can be a pain but if you see them forming they're not that hard to roll away from.

Also, I leveled up quite a bit too, was getting my ass kicked at around level 70, with a couple near misses where she had like 10% health lefe, but then went back around lvl 90 and beat her first try.

Best tips for
Logarius
? Dude's straight up wrecking me.

Keep close to encourage melee, parry when possible, shoot or slash the sword in the ground that spawns the magic shooting swords.

Alternatively, return at the end of the game and find it accidentally an easy fight then. Oops.

It might be buyable from insight messengers, but you probably need
mother brain dead in Latria v2
first

Aim for the arms. Over the head attacks are great, or you can wait for it to attack. Not a great fight for lock on.

Did you ever find a way of dodging her charge? I tried staying close in the hopes that she'd never do it too but she doesn't seem to have any qualms about using it when you're at medium distance.

I dunno, I'd argue it's still pretty tough even at the end of the game, unless you get the shitty version of him which only does the same easily parryable 3 hit combo.

Have you considered watching how other people beat her? This guy for example:

And then there's this guy whose strategy was to kill her before she entered any other phase:

You will understand latter. Maybe. You need to dig deeper into the nightmare to see past the frenzy

The fudge man. I can never find these bloody Bell Maidens in the Unseen Village. I feel like they're placed in such a way that you just can't find them?

Go for his head or arms. Everything else takes reduced damage.

Guys, guys... I need some quick advice so I can proceed.

I just killed the last boss (?),
the Nurse,
but before going to
Gehrman
, I decided to look for that
big, gross flesh thing that I cut loose
earlier during the level. Well, I found it but now I'm standing there in front of it and don't know what to do. Should I kill it or not? Some relatively spoiler-free advice would be much appreciated.

Yes. Because it looks so damn cool if you mix it with the Knight set.
That armor also gave me serious Demon'S Souls vibes. Used it for all of
Nightmare of Mensis
and it fit that environment perfectly.

Okay the Chalice dungeon grind has become a lot more tolerable now that I've fired up the Spotify app.

Slaying some beasts to Prince is pretty nice.

For the B
rain
down in the dark, use the gesture
Make Contact, you learned from the statue in Upper Cathedral ward, for about 40 seconds you will get a Rune. Then kill it

Using skill weapons so I can't stagger, unfortunately. I'm stuck dealing with the second form whether I want to or not.

I think you can still stagger with skill weapons. It just requires more hits, I think.

Either that or come back to Ebrietas after you have leveled up a bit more.

She's in the 2nd floor (I think) of a build that you need to raid. You basically have to run past all the mobs into the building, up the stairs, and then kill her before you can safely slaughter the mobs.

make sure to search high and low in the cathedral area. the best strat I thought was to save money on the key and open it by doing the latter above...but you may miss an Eil
een
meeting if you do it that way, thankfully she still shows up back at Oedon though, so I say workshop - - make sure to look
very carefuly as you descend though
.
