I did 57 attempts on a boss in Lower Loren, but in retrospect I think I was just being stubborn since 52 of those were in a row and I got it in 5 the next day after sleeping on it and changing my strategy a bit. I had a mild meltdown on here about how cheap it was, lol at me.

Already fearing the next one, I know what boss it is and it gave me problems in the regular encounter...
I really hope the guide reveals a whole bunch of shit we've never even heard of.
In all truth I think the second ending probably has the best cutscene, anyway.
Have you considered rolling a new character with a different focus (str, skill, arcane)? You'll be amazed how quickly you can rip through the game now that you know the layout and all of the bosses.

Anyone know a list of all the weapons needed for the trophy? I'm pretty sure I just got the last one and the trophy hasn't popped. Pretty pissed to be honest since I just did the whole chalice crap and now I'm one away from the platinum. I bet it's gone and glitched on me :/

Iron door key, and I'm not sure where to go. There's a point down the stairs that I use the key that leads to some long bridge and then there's a point up the stairs that leads to some cathedral looking place where I can hear a baby crying.

. I came to the poison swamp before and took a different direction up a hill with rock tossing giants. I get to another swamp only to run through it and find myself back at the first swamp I thought I bypassed. What is going on?

really depends on the player. It took me about 6 hours to get from where you are to the final boss. Thats because i got stuck on amygdala for quite a while. Once i reached the final chalice it only took me an hour to get to final boss.
I think you need to do the invading.

The PvP is amazing fun. I am sure they will tweak it a bit to make it perfect. My main problem is that it's too hard to punish healing.

Yep, need the rune, and you don't need to be invading. You get one even for killing NPC hunters.
Interesting that there doesn't seem to be any reward past the gesture.
