I am right before the end and Bloodborne has to be one of the most consistently good games i have ever played.Never a bad area like many other great games have.

Eh. It's ok. Just ready for the game to be over at this point. Tired of fighting the same boss 60 times.

Ok so i finally beat boss2 (father g)... So i didn't find the music box... Do i need it? Is there other stuff i could have found where the music box is located?

Okay, so after beating the game twice (and beating some of the earlier bosses 3 or 4 times), I think I have a good feel of how hard the bosses are for me. Only counting non-Chalice ones for now. On my first playthrough I used the cane exclusively, on my second I used the rapier with a bloodtinge build.

S Tier

Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos- By far the hardest for me. It's hard enough before it gets to its second form if the camera screws up or you get trapped in a corner... and then the second form happens. Also frenzy lol.

A Tier

Vicar Amelia- I've heard this was easier with a heavy weapon, but it still gives me some trouble. One of the bosses where it's really easy to have everything go to shit really fast, and it has a ton of health.

Shadow of Yharnam- I thought this was really easy on my first playthrough... turns out that was glitched because the flame sword one wouldn't attack or call snakes. A lot harder the real way, even with parries.

Matyr Logarius- He can be really easy or hard depending on what he does, but he's more hard than not. I feel like this is one of the "did you get lucky?" bosses in the game. I used to think he was impossible, but he's not so bad now.

Gehrman, the First Hunter- I know I just said he was really easy if you parry him, and he is, but even then you can fuck up or get nervous and die really fast.

B Tier

Father Gascoigne- I swear no matter how many times I face this guy, I always lose at least twice. This shouldn't be this hard lol.

Moon Presence- Seemed a lot easier coming off of Gehrman, but it's still not too easy. Only fought this one once though, maybe I need to do it again.

Amygdala- Kind of borderline between B and C. Was really hard with my cane, but with the bloodtinge build I could just sit back and shoot really easily. Pretty middle-of-the-road.

C Tier

Mergo's Wetnurse- Not that hard to avoid outside of darkness mode, the hardest thing about this boss is how long it takes to kill.

Blood-Starved Beast- Another luck based boss I think. I've never been poisoned by it, but I feel like whether you win or not depends on if it tries that jumping grab attack.

Darkbeast Paarl- I have no clue how to beat this guy, but by the time I face him I'm high enough leveled to just use blood vials and tank his hits. He goes down fast.

D Tier

Rom, Vacuous Spider- This guy is too easy. The only time I had trouble with him was when I tried killing the spiders, as soon as I switched back to just running on my second playthrough I beat him lol.

Micolash, Host of the Nightmare- He's pretty easy (especially with blood rapture), but his Call from Beyond can be hard if you don't know what to do, and those dwarves suck. Probably my favorite boss fight.

The One Reborn- One-shotted this dude the first time, had a bit more trouble the second. You have time to change clothes and item equips lol.

E Tier

Celestial Emissary- I felt bad when I lost to this guy a few times in a row. Those mobs can get you by surprise.

Cleric Beast- One shotted on my very first time playing the game, never had any trouble since.

Witch of Hemwick

Witch of Hemwick- Yeahh...

She's so not the easiest boss in the game. She's much harder then the pathetic boss of C
elestial
E
missary
. Oh boy.. is that a easy boss.

CE was damn easy too but it took so much longer. but they're pretty on par, imo

I died more times against the Cleric Beast than I did against ever boss in A Tier put together.
Well, Father G. is considered to be easy, but I couldn't beat him for a day because I didn't understand parrying at the time.
On the other hand, Ebrietas was easy for me and I really don't know why.

Really? Witch took me a few minutes to clear usually. But CE took me like 30 seconds. Can barely even hit me.

wait, there's a trick to it? i went in blind and was just killing those guys until he showed up. first try tho so i never looked up what the gimmick was really about.

Need an advice on where to continue. The only optional area left for me should be
Cainhurst
, otherwise I can go on with
Nightmare of Mensis
. Which is the smarter choice level-wise?

At this point i might just leave ebi on WoS, betweenthe camera/ poorly designed charge move/ constant hp drain... I'm no longer dying cause its my own fault.

Think just kill kill kill is the trick. After killing off some of the adds, the big guy shows up. Then focus on him.

He is among those small guys. You just need to recognize him and at 50% health, he becomes huge.
So yeah, it's a short fight is you guess which one he is.

Where do you find a Blood Rock? My +9 Threaded Cane demands to be a +10. Also, beat A
mygdala
on my 2nd try, not that bad. Where do I go from here though?
the story blood rock is in nightmare of mensis. You can only get it after you defeat the boss area. Lots of frenzy on the way to get the rock too.

Ive been trying to avoid looking up anything so far (outside of how the fuck do bells work) and i just have a couple of questions

1.I know about the "real ending" thing. What is the absolute final boss I can beat before I should stop and go back and find the items?

2. I got my first chalice. I'm somewhere between 45-55 right now(at work so can't look) Can I start chalice stuff now or is all that more end game stuff? Want to see if I should try it out or if i'd just be wasting items

I also felt p good because I beat that BSB asshole on my first try, though I was a. overleveled (went all through hemwick first) and b. used fire paper and tore his shit up

I grinded them last night and you just have to kill the sack dudes. Really low drop rate but I've found none better. Layer 3 of Depth 3 there's a really early sack dude you can farm in the offshoot just before
Rom
.

I finally got them!

There is a door where you asked for a password. After you killed Amelia, the cutscene reveals the passwort, so you can now enter. When you go all the way down from Amelia to the central plaza where the two giants are, on the right side there's a path which leads to the door.

Thank you so much!

1.
Story-wise, the wet nurse.
2. You can start. You'll find it pretty easy initially but then it ramps up pretty significantly from there.

Lmao. Just magic explode a bunch of random projectiles at you. That's fucking stupid. So what's the trick to that?

Get in his face. Even if he starts to fire the missiles, if you hit him early enough it'll stun him out of it. If you stay close to him, he won't even use that move. He'll just try and use physical attacks and the tentacle thing.

Jeff Gerstmann helped me play Bloodborne better, I got so much farther after listening to his segment about it on the Giantbombcast. I'd been using R2 as my main attack instead of R1, this was a huge mistake.

At level 60 what should be my Vitality? I'm getting trounced by some enemies and it's at 26.
There is no correct answer to this. It's just as important to level Vitality as well as Endurance, Strength and Skill (depending on your weapon). But if you think you are too weak, focus on leveling up Vitality for now.
