I mean, yeah, in still images they look great, but, in motion, I wasn't much impressed.
Keep in mind, I'm not saying they look *bad* in any way shape or form. Just...I don't know. Didn't really impress me as much as the rest of the game did, in that trailer.
Holy shit this game is beautiful. Please tell me it looks like that on PS4.
The PS4 version should look very close to this trailer, albeit with more jaggies and shimmering, like Dictator said. Maybe a setting or two slightly lower. But if the PS4 version really does look very close to this, I'm more than satisfied. I keep getting the feeling that CDRP shows us PC footage @ high because that's what they're targeting for the console versions.![]()
I'm hoping the PS4 version holds up pretty well.
This looks absolutely brilliant. I'm in love with the color palette.
Yeah I am torn between X1 for comfy gamepad gaming or PC for glorious graphical masterpiece!

So to show off the "breathtaking magic" in the game, they chose to show a women's bra disintegrating?
Eh... You can use the xb1 game pad on the PC.
This looks glorious. Can't wait.
Me? I'm not searching for anything, the game looks AMAZING.
Yeah I know, but the PC is in a box room. May want to play in living room.
Ok. Here's what you do.
1. Move the PC tower to the living room, place it under the TV and hook it up.
2. Play the Witcher 3 in its full glory using an xb1 controller on your comfy couch.
3. When anybody else you might happen to live with asks why there is a monstrosity of a PC tower sat in the middle of the living room, simply tell them "go away or I'll kill you".
Or look into home streaming.

Trailer overselling the Witcher's uses in monster slaying kind of undermines the whole thematic thing they've been doing over the past 2 games (ie Witchers are a dying breed because the world is becoming more normal and monsters & magic are declining). But I guess they want to sell the gameplay from a monster hunting angle when Geralt is actually doing more human slaying than the former now.
i'm playing through the witcher 2 on pc and so damn excited for 3 but can't decide if i should buy it on PS4 or PC. Ideally PC of course but not sure if mine is up for it.
do we know what kind of graphics/performance the recommended specs will give? because i pretty much meet them except for my CPU. they ask for an i7-3770 but i only have an i5-4590. i'd be happy with 1080p 30fps, same quality graphics as PS4, with decent amount of AA.
"Is it 1358 yet?" - Vampyr
"No" - Geralt
"Then fuck off" - Vampyr

BTW - they changed some things when it comes to graphics: thx for the captures EliHarel from the Witcher forums

What are you trying to show us exactly?
Really? :lol

The books did just that.Obviously the best kind of magic. I love how unabashedly "masculine" the series can be without being offensive. They do it in that cheeky Game of Thrones style.
Also, plot prediction: MAJOR SPECULATIONGeralt dies at the end. Ciri takes his place as protagonist
Is it just me or is it just a difference in time of day? The foliage does look better but that could be because of the more vibrant lighting due to it being morning/noon.BTW - they changed some things when it comes to graphics: thx for the captures EliHarel from the Witcher forums

That maybe it is one of the few games that don't suffer from visible graphical downgrade?
They're not equivalent though and you can do the couch experience with the PC. Just lug your desktop and plug it to the big TVYeah I am torn between X1 for comfy gamepad gaming or PC for glorious graphical masterpiece!
