So after thinking i was a bit overleveled at 50-55 because i killed Rom on the third try the game is now kicking my ass in Unseen Village and Nightmare frontier. So i decided to go to Cainhurst Castle but had to look up some YT video's on how to get there. How do people find this stuff out? Getting the summons is one thing because of exploring and stuff. But to trigger the cutscene.. Id never would have found out by myself.

Did you read the summons?

I felt like I had control over the battle, I tried to stay close enough for The W
atchdog of the Old Lords to do his head swing attack the majority of the time. Which I sidestep to whatever side he is swinging from, hit him once or twice then get the fuck out.
Was also considering help a few times, but have yet to start the game in online mode...
Did almost the same with W
atch Dog
, only dodged where he was swinging to, ie swinging left -> dodge left towards it, 1x R1 with Burial Blade and gtfo.

It's the only thing I rea dislike about this game. Plus there is no real way to stop it other than items since it just keeps building
Yeah, the item stops it, but one second later, you're hit again, so it basically just delays it. I guess it makes sense that you cant sneak up on the
brain enemies because they have eyes all over their head, so they can see in all directions.

Uh. It was pretty simple, the location was in the item description, I just went there and the scene triggered.

Item description says that
stagecoach leaves from Hemwick Crossing.
Not really super hidden.

There's a lot of very obscure stuff in this game, but not that. The item description is VERY explicit.

Frenzy is so stupid : Its near impossible to avoid it. And you cant sneak up on those enemies either.
Yeah I had a lot of issues at first with frenzy. The bar just went full immediately and pretty much killed me. I had 70 insight which was the biggest problem, once I brought it right down and put the frenzy res rune on the bar hardly crept up at all. Made things much much easier.

Have fun in Cainhurst. And no, the yard is not the base difficulty of this level. It's way easier inside.

Yes. Also the crow outfit from Eileen has a pretty high frenzy res if I recall. I used that, and didn't have much trouble.

I was actually disappointed by how easy the rest of it was
minus the boss
given how much I enjoyed the difficulty of the first enemies.

Me 2 but Marty really balanced it out. I think i needed 15 tries.

Yes, run from those enemies and head to the door... Really fuck those guys

Key for me was to only fight one of them at a time and dodging into them ( forward, with lock on) when they attack. That puts you (almost) behind them (also good strategy for some bosses).

Anyone knows how to acces that loot ? It's in Lower Pthumeru (Depth 3, Layer 4) :

Hard to tell what else you've done so far :D Gone down the Workshop Tower already from the Cathedral?
IV killed the vicar the wiches I haven't gone to the workshop I killed the two hunters and followed the path down to a locked door and was killed by the invisible giant thing. Currently banging my head against the darkbeast...

I remember someone on here in one of the earlier OTs posted that they reached some area that only 1% of players had reached or something like that. Did they ever reveal where this was?

It was probably the
abandoned workshop
but that's definitely not as unknown now. They were most likely going off of the trophy counter.

use firepaper.

Ok I have some of that. The fight is in such a small, well narrow area.

Wow, just used firepaper, big help.

I've gone from having no chance to I think I could possibly do it. Now if it wasn't for my stamina running out :)

I feel very intimidated by
The One Reborn
right now. Not sure where to focus my attacks. I'm pretty sure I hate the look and design of the creature as well and I haven't played the game for almost a week because of it. :(

If I remmeber correctly there should be a path up there somewhere in the dungeon...I think you missed a door somewhere...

Could you maybe try and be a little more specific ? :D

I spent an hour touring the place, hitting every wall and there was nothing to be found except for one illusory wall that lead to a messenger shop.

If you beat on the little man on top it does massive damage. Also make sure to kill the witches around the balconys first. Gtfo when he throws up. Some people like jumping off the balcony and striking, but I kept getting stuck on him and killed when I did that.

Man, every time I play Bloodborne, I worry my ps4's dying. I've had three short freeze moments where the sounds freezing scared me more than the game's content. 2 short freezes in Old Yarnham and one where the game froze for nearly 2 seconds at the Forbidden Woods. Also, after reaching Old Yarnham and furthering on, my character has these odd moments of walking instead of running when I have the stick pushed to the fullest.

Look for a hidden path. Just go around hitting any walls that look suspicious.

I did that. I'd really like some more specific instructions like "there is a hidden door in room where X that leads to there".

I hit every wall in the damn dungeon, I explored the part after you open the door boss.. I just don't see what I missed.

In the middle of fighting the large boss at the end of the nightmare Frontier and got logged/kicked from the game

"Failed to acquire Bloodborne server information"

Can't get back in again now either

Heh completely missed that since i never looked at the description :p. Had to look up how to get to Cainhurst from the beginning.

Thanks it looks pretty damn cool. Crazy that its an optional area!

When it froze for a second did you get a weird audio tone from your tv?

That happens all the time, I wouldn't worry about it.

Well I did it! I beat it and got the secret ending. First Souls style game I have really spent this much time on and I love it a lot. The boss battles can be a bit frustrating and I vastly prefer the times when I am scouting for another shortcut or items. Regardless though getting through the game was a goal for me and I am so happy I did.

I actually had a harder time on
Gehrman than I did on Moon Presence, Gehr took me about 15 tries sadly lol, gave up and upgraded some equipment first
.

MP is much easier than G.

Sorry, I don't remember exactly where it was. I gave up on getting that treasure originally; it was definitely not easy to find. Redid the dungeon once I read I had missed out on a sinister chalice. I want to say it might have been right at the start.

Maybe this video shows the location?

Thanks! Never found a way up to the balcony on my first tries. I'll take a look around the area.

You let it build up in the meter a bit before using the sedative. Using the sedative resets the meter. So you deal with it, use a vial if you must and a sedative as described and you'll be managing it properly.
