install is complete lets get it
Maxed all the quality options with 8XMSAA and my VRAM usage says 4033 MB / 4095 MB
That's only at 1080p tooWonder how much 4K uses at those settings.
What did you honestly expect to happen? Most games are like that.Black bars left and right in all cutscenes using 21:9 (2560x1080)
Fuck this shit....![]()
I just bookmarked a guide here in case I need it. Looks easy to do and I have a Corsair H80 here, think I can OC it high and still keep a good temp.Made a pretty big difference in GTAIV for me as well as other games. The 2500K is really easy to overclock, but it's a little time-consuming getting the most out of it. And every chip is different so you can't use use other people's settings.
Runs good on 970!

What resolution and settings?
LOL wow the benchmark just 'failed' because it triggered failed mission state, claming that I left my crew behind.
Ok... So I hit retry and it's put me in the middle of a random mission, about 30 seconds into it the camera shot through the ground and started flying through empty space. This is trippy.

Benchmark is weird. It starts the first mission of the game and launches the benchmark at the same time. Halfway through the benchmark the mission fails because "You left your crew behind" and the mission failed message pops up and ends the benchmark. The performance during the scenes I was able to see were locked at 60 fps, which is good I guess. Ha ha.
Cool! Looking forward to your numbers, since our configs are almost identical. I think I'm not going to be able to check it out for another 5 hours at least :/
Play the first mission before you benchmark jeez.
Gtx 760 60 fps on high/very high
I'm getting 70-90fps on 1440p with everything on Very High!
My rig is 4690k at 4.6Ghz, 24Gb RAM, and a GTX 970!
1080p60
All max, soft shadows, FXAA, 2x reflection AA.
Advanced settings shadows/flight streaming sliders on a little below max. About 3.2GB vram.
Yep I'm amazed.
I7 3770 4.2ghz
970 1567/3954mhz
2x4gb 2133mhz cl10 ram
Some dips but nothing horrendous in the cutscenesat the getaway car at the start.
Looks like a solid port.here's some actual PC performance report from reddit since GAF is being bad at it:
These both are really odd.60 fps at 4k res with almost everything maxed.
This was with the benchmark.
Strangely it reads my two R9 290s as 8 gigs of available memory.
With 4k res, all the population stuff maxed, and most other settings maxed, it hit around 6.5 gigs of usage.
Benchmark ran absolutely fine at a smooth 60fps.
I'm so god damn happy!

Yeah my install is borked or something. It keeps crashing and displaying that message. It also refuses to do anything if I have Precision X loaded up. It won't move to the next screen as long as that program is open.
