The hunter you need to kill to finish Eileen's quest is kicking my ass so hard on NG+, I know he's easy to cheese but I want to do it right.

Numbing Mist is handy. Don't attack him if his gun's out because he'll probably stun you. His 2-handed phase is a godsend as it damages him continuously and he puts his gun away. Very difficult battle. Took me more attempts than the final boss.

I'm considering taking a break from the game. I really want the plat, but the chalice dungeons are a real test of patience.

You can kill it easily with a little patience, just go near any column and she/he will follow you , now just go in circles and she/he will never damage you since the column will block all its attacks, now just just use your long range weapon and hit every time she/he approaches one corner and after this go in circle around the column and wait for them next strike, repeat until she/he is dead.

If you're using blades of mercy, you can get her stun-locked with the dual-wielding form and literally beat her in ~20 seconds with one bar of stamina.

That is a hard friggen boss, I had to cheese it with poison daggers (14 daggers over ~10 minutes, running the whole way...).

Run up and kill the ladies up top. With the boss, you can stay by his side almost the entire fight, where is small legs are, and go to town. His small legs doesn't do that much damage and you should be able to heal over it.

She always seems to attack with one more tentacle than your i-frames can handle. I suggest staying in mid-range and trying to strafe to her side.

I'm having an issue right now where everytime I start an online game, it says I've been disconnected and returns me to the main menu. Very very annoying. Anyone know about this? I'm in a chalice dungeon if that makes a difference.

It's worth it, though. I got the plat at around 40-50 hours, with Ebrietas and that asshole I just mentioned being the hardest bosses of the game.

Finally finished the game! So amazing, loved the whole thing. The only trophies I have left are for the other endings; I did all the chalice stuff before the final boss. I guess level 130 was a bit overkill for that, it was super easy.

Gonna make a skill/bloodtinge character now. Went strength as usual for the first time around, Kirkhammer represent!

Before the doll activate, you have to fight Father G or Cleric Beast... with the additionnal pressure of losing everything

I'm exactly here but at New Game++ and I think I have something like 500k blood echoes on me, eh.

Oh, and don't rely too much on oil + molotov for the Cleric Beast in NG+... for me it wasn't effective anymore >_<

to play with a specific person, you need to setup a corresponding password. Using numbers and letters, being in the same area helps a lot. But if you want to coop with someone, the boss for the area can not be dead, you ring the beckoning bell, and the other person rings the small resonant bell. You will get the credit for the boss kill, the other player will get half of the blood echoes and insight however the coop player will not progress their game.

Just got the Platinum. Feels good.

Finally finished the game with every ending and quests. I don't know if I'm going to do the NG+ right now, I'm probably going to wait for later this year to tackle the game again. I'm just missing 3 throphies, but in all of them I've to tackle the chalice dungeons, which I don't want to. I guess the Platinum is going to have to wait.

Edit: ^ Yes the Saw cleaver scaled to C strength. It has one of the worst scaling of the game. That said, I upgraded mine to +10 and it felt really powerful.

Slaughtered. Funny thing I I took a Beast Pill and just ran up and started whacking her. She lowered her head, I got a VA. Whacked her some more. VA. By the time she started to do her cosmic attack, I killed her lol. I guess that was the last boss of the game outside of G
