I think that will definitely be doable. I am in the same boat but I have beaten the boss after that. Honestly it seems like the game is going not as far as how far you need to go to a boss but less of a feeling of I should level a little bit.

50% of the bosses are optional, so it's impossible to tell, just list all the bosses you've beaten and/or areas you've explored.

destroy the swords either.

I've beaten him multiple times (twice myself and I've helped multiple people) and I never did that.

Yup can't do Rom in the chalice dungeons. Just can't get him with his fricken stomping around when I get close.
Only time in the game I have been thwarted damn it!
 
I love this game but powering through these Chalice bosses in the homestretch is driving me to the brink of insanity. They're so annoying, most of them one-hit-kill you, and it's way harder than anything else in the game. Miyazaki knows it too, he's fucking with us.

I have it equipped and selected all the time. I beat the game this way lol. Will have to change that on my current playthroughs.

Rom is quite weak to Bloodtinge, so use Bone Marrow Ash with your pistol/evelyn/cannon. Like the description say, BMA helps strengthen the gun's firepower to help with hunter's weak bloodtinge.

Well, shit. I've had that permanently on since before FG.

EDIT: Torch and Reiterpallasch suddenly became a much better combo than before.

I ended up in the nightmare of mensis after the One Reborn boss battle, I thought I was supposed to go to the nightmare frontier. Have I accidentally skipped a large part of the game?

Been farming Depth 5 Dungeons with All Rites enabled.
The Watchers/(Team Tri-Fats) Boss drops rank 17-19 +Phys% Often.

Two-Handed, honestly I think Chikage is mostly only useful for Two-Handed because QuickDraw is pretty much the only move that is truely excellent in the moveset and bypassing all other resistances in S-scaled full-blood glory is great.
Everything else is okay.

I also have 5HPRegen gem on my gun, it helps bot not really noticeably, thinking about a secondary to accompany this build.

I love how consistent From is across the series with katanas being cursed/damaging the player. I guess it's a Japanese thing...well, obviously it is.

Thanks! Haven't done the Rites stuff yet. Will have to do that to get those awesome gems. Want to see how far I can take my Ludwig's Sword.
 
I am lost again, after beating
blood wolf shit i got the tomb key and went into the room that opened in the safe church and went to the top but the key doesn't open the door at the top 0_o,
I then went to the dream place and went to the grave and started that labyrinth and made it to the 3rd floor/layer but am wondering if i should keep going

Ive havent done any Dungeons yet but ive beaten all the bosses and optional bosses (expect the last one)

Do you think I should play a couple of Dungeons before I face the last boss?

Dungeons are separate from the main game. You can do them after the final boss.
