the Unseen Village. Right before you go down the stair with that Amygdala shooting laser beams at you, there a little opening in the fence on the right that you can drop through. It will take you to a bell maiden and place to drop down to get the key.

Parry him in his second phase. Super easy to parry.

Cheese him through the pillars. Keep him on the other side of a pillar and use a weapon that has long rang charge R2 that can clip through hitting him.

It'll be too late for me, but I hope they nerf how many mats you need for chalice dungeons. Opening a chest for stinking mat rewards is bad enough. So much potential...I wish From had more time to work on them. Can you imagine every story chalice being like a mini Sens Fortress?

All I need is a lvl 15 gem and to get to (and beat) the final chalice dungeon boss for the platinum, something I normally don't give a shit about. Love this game...and glad I went with a PS4 over a GPU upgrade.

Quick question about co-op and Chalice Dungeons.

My friend just picked up Bloodborne and he is now around level 35 and wants to co-op the game with me. The problem is I just hit level 91 last night and I know that the game won't let you enter another person's world unless they are within 20 levels of you but does this also apply to Chalice Dungeons? If I got the code to his dungeon, entered it, and we both rang the bells would I be able to enter his game or are we out of luck?

Really sloppy, but this is how I approached it. Mostly because I was tired of his cheap boomerangs so I stayed in his face.

I'm still stuck on Rom. This guy sucks ass. I've tried easily over 20 times. Maybe being level 46 isn't high enough? I can't even summon help because the game either won't find anyone or the cooperator dies on me rather quickly.

The little spiders pounce attack will kill me in one hit. Rom's AOE attack will kill me in one hit, and if I get hit twice by his ice shower attack I'm done for (which is extremely hard to dodge and unpredictable).

I did get him to a sliver of health and got pounced on by a spider and killed. I was so pissed.

Hopefully I can try again tonight but now I have to farm for vials since I'm dry.

If you've found the short root chalice, you can open those without mats. Apparently if you enter a glyph it's also free(?). Doesn't help you really, but it's better than spending mats to get them.

Yes, apart from Dark Souls 2, which changed it to a horrible cumulative amount of souls (echoes) gained system. I'm not sure if they fixed that in the re-release.

more vit would help but kill the adds for sure and take your time. I'd lvl up if I were you but that's just me maybe you could farm vials and lvl up a bit at he same time.

Lead Elixir just makes you immune to stagger but you still take damage.

I think I posted some advice last time you posted. He probably shouldn't be 1-shotting you from full health.

What's your Vitality at? Are you wearing an armor set with decent Arcane Defense (I'm guessing that's the damage type...)?

I beat him with the Cane. More damage per hit, and you don't have a lot of time to land a combo on him. Better to hit and run, then go for parries.
