I always go for Vit. On bosses, especially later chalice, you can only get 1-2 hits in anyway before backing out. Very high end is more useful for PVP.

I have about 37 endurance with 15% extra HP, and can still be 1-2 HKO'd towards the end of the game. I shudder to think how bad a time I would be having with less

lol. seriously? I feel so stupid now. I used it all the time in chalices.... I at times felt my stanima was repleshing slower, never pegged it to the lantern.

Take skill up for more atk, then vitality as needed for survivability. 25-30 endurance is fine for the cane, especially if you use a stamina rune.

I feel bad. I forgot about Eileen the Crows quest so
feels like I am missing a lot in this game. First playthrough but I feel like I'm messing stuff up lol.
I had to kill her.
The cane uses so little stamina than you can probably leave your endurance at 30 if you want.
Here's someone's 27.3%.
Not a cane users, but I did finished all the Chalice dungeons with only 15 END. The only need for high END is you are not limiting your lvl and/or for PVPing.

At +10, Kirkhammer has an A scaling with strength, B with arcane. Unless you have some godly arcane gems, strength would win out.
Is Arcane even worth investing in at this point? I know the skill gains drop off a bit at 25.
True but don't most enemies/players have much stronger physical defence than elemental?

I took it to 15 to use a couple of Hunter Tools, but focused exclusively on Skill.
If you're going for a PVP build, Arcane might be decent, since you're right about most people going for physical defense.

soft cap at 50. Hard cap at 100.
With really good gems (+20% attack) and good scaling on a weapon (A or S) you will still see a 1 maybe 2 point gain per point after 50. (While before 50 with the same gems and weapons you were getting 4-5)
You should try out the tonitrus since you have perfect stats for it.

Would I be safe to say 125 would be perfect pvp meta? This allows A hard cap in endurance, vit, and one dmg stat.

So I really don't like the tonal/style shift after the battle with R
om. At all. I looked ahead and spoiled myself on stuff. Not a fan. Everything looks stupid and over the top but not in a good way. Blah. Went from like 1 or 2 degrees of separation from reality to COMPLETELY off the deep end.

Whew, I was having trouble with Ebrietas, so I summoned help and we got destroyed, so as I was waiting for another partner it was taking forever so I said fuck it. I think I found a good strategy which people probably already know but I'm not sure, since I never look up boss fights if I dont have to. Anyway I ran in and just stayed close in front of her, and dodged her head and swinging arms and then went in heavy for her body/head. It seems like a lot of people try to strafe around her where she will swing her arms and tentacles and hit you 2 or even 3 times with 1 swing. Anyway, eventually if you do enough damage she falls and you can do a visceral attack. After that I just went crazy on her and she died, will post a video in a few if people are having trouble. I should note, I killed her rather easily with my STR build using Ludwigs, but was having a tough time with my SKL Blades of Mercy build.

No, though root dungeons will randomize the loot, so you might get one from a chest.

Welp... was trying to figure out how to get +Blood runes now that I have phys runes, only to find out that (so far) only
(Cainhurst) drop high end +Blood DMG runes, but they only spawn in Chalice dungeons randomly on a chance if you kill an enemy with a Visceral and leave and come back.
What a lame ass drop pattern.

Which hunter?
The first, she fights mostly herself with you occasionally shooting him to slow him down. The second, get him to follow you to the stairs. When he switches to two hand mode, his health drops until he eventually dies.

So this is really dumb but I've been playing this game for over 20 hours and had no idea that for your saw cleaver when you do your charge attack with R2, you could actually press R2 again which does an over the top motion that brings the saw cleaver to the ground and smashes the enemy.
