I saw no mention of it anywhere on the US site nor the notification I got. I have a feeling the US won't get it yet. Granted, if anyone wants to flat-out confirm if the US gets it or not, go ahead. Edit: It wasn't mentioned in the weekly PR release as well, further making me think the US won't get it.
Also yeah, wish the update didn't force you to go to the gate. I had 5 people, but was most likely getting 2 or 3 more in another hour when I go to college.
Yeah had I of known, I would've played them last night. I lost Reggie and his 10,000 man army too

I didn't even have a choice in the matter, because Reggie showed up at my gate hours before the update was ready.
I think it would be utterly pointless if only you saw it. So most likely, everyone sees it (unless they didn't update).

Bought both new games because of the Thank You discount. Absolutely loving the fishing game (I love fishing). Haven't tried zombies yet.
Zombie one seems...alright. Seems there's 4 goals in each level that net you a medal. I got 3 on the first level (I don't like the sound of "rare zombie"), but I hope it doesn't become like Mii Force where it's a huge pain to go back & replay the levels. I think that's what killed my enjoyment of the game for me, & I like shmups.
Oh yeah I noticed that there was an additional $1 off for the bundle, due to it. That was nice
Yeah, right after I updated I had some JP people I've been passing over homepass for a while in my queue and they suddenly had special bubbles.
If you're talking about Miis that are 1,000+ Miis back in your Plaza, you wouldn't be able to save them because they've already been stripped of all their profile data. Unfortunately, that's how it's always been. After the 1,000th Mii, profile data is deleted, and after the 3,000th Miis are deleted altogether. There's no way Nintendo could have restored that data to those old Miis through this update.

Huh? The first thing I did was go through my list and add some 30 people to VIP.
I mean, they've still got their profile name and mii, that's all I really care about. Why can't they add that to the VIP room? When they're advertising it as "Save Miis from deletion!" and you can't add Miis that are near deletion someone fucked up.

That's literally all the data that remains after the 1000 Mii threshold. They're not playable in that state, and the VIP room is for preserving playable Miis.

I managed to add the older two Reggie Miis to my VIP room, I couldn't find the other cool gold pants miis though. :/

A Mii Plaza update can't change the daily coin accrual rate. That's a firmware level function.

Does anyone know if there's a way to move the Gate icon (the pink arrow) on the Touch Screen? The Rearrange Games menu in Settings lets you move all the game icons and the Plaza icon, but not the Gate icon. Want I want to do is move the Plaza icon (the little sprout) and the Gate icon to the third row that's just out of view and have all the game icons in the first two rows, but I'm afraid to mess with the order if there's no way to move the Gate icon because I don't want it ending up in a position I don't want it in, lol. So yeah, has anyone experimented with this yet? Is there a way to move the Gate icon?

Holy crap! Today's real megaton is that more than two people can have the same first name.
So, this is rather interesting. There's no sad bunny in the EU version. I guess that explains why we still don't have Rusty's Real Deal baseball, which is all about helping a character out by buying games and them looking miserable when you don't.

You can move the sprout icon (Plaza), can't you? There's an option for "Plaza" in the Rearrange Games settings.
What on earth, I just spent 16 coins hiring people on the zombie game thinking that will last me a short while, only to discover that upon stumbling into them all in the opening scene I could no longer use them again for the next stage :/ I only needed to use one weapon to pass it. What a total waste.

Intriguing, i'll have a closer look then as i'm playing the Japanese version so i may have missed an option. The only things i found i could move to the hall of fame room were the games only.

This is weird, on my system I can move the plaza (sprout) and entrance (arrow) shortcuts just like another of the others. Maybe it is a region specific thing.
What is also odd is that the play section honours the shortcut order except for Quest and Puzzle Swap which always first.
It seems to me at least in the early stages it might be best to only hire one but if you want medals you want to be able to use charge shots a lot as they're powerful. I've not played much as I did more fishing and finally cleared the tutorial area.

Moving to the hall of fame is a completely different function from what we're referring to here.

I'm not talking about moving games to the Game Vault, I'm talking about rearranging them on the bottom screen. If you got to Settings > Rearrange Games, "Plaza" is the first option, and you can rearrange the Plaza icon. This is for the North American version, though. Dunno if there are region differences (beyond language, of course).
Oh, you're right, it is there! I totally missed the Plaza Gate because it's between Find Mii and Mii Force. I don't know why but I expected it to be at the top or at the end, lol.
There's some girl/woman/man pretending to be a girl that must live nearby. I streetpass with this person almost every day. Their Mii doesn't resemble anyone living in the building (three story building, four apartments per floor, you get to know what your neighbors look like) but at they very least they have a nice and varied taste in games based on the "What I've been playing" component.
Unfortounately the 16 character communication limit means our conversations consist of

"Long Time No See" (Started a new job and there was month or something where I didn't turn on my 3DS)

I just like how I can finally hide Find Mii & Mii Force. I feared it was gonna be another damn VIP feature, but nope. Now they're completely out of my site.

Went to a McDonalds relay to get 6 hits. Tried out the new games. I really like both of them.
Of course, I still have to complete all the others (excluding Puzzle Swap as that's different). I'm only on my first runthrough of Find MIi II Secret Quest... out of 10.
Mii Force, I have a lot of reputations to get. As well as 3 more of level score, casualty-free runs, and treasures.
Flower Town I only have two jobs left
Warrior's Way I still haven't beaten.
Same with Monster Manor (really need to plan out how to get the Bronze and up chests)

Conventions. Anime or comic are usually great for streetpassing.

Conventions, like anime conventions (Anime Expo, Otakon, Anime Boston) or game conventions (PAX, Blizzcon). Most usually have a very high concentration of people doing Streetpass during the event.

The original idea was that you had to be in proximity with another 3DS user, which is a system that didn't really work well outside Japan. The workaround was to create the relays, which cache data from 3DSes that pass through certain hotspots. McDonalds hasn't been working as well for me recently as it used to; Home Depot seems to be the reliable choice for most people.
