NG+ and picking up the two from the first floor of the lecture building. Assuming you already got the two there in your first play.

Afraid to commit to NG+ and lose
Mergo's Loft Middle
for an easy place for echoes and vials. :(

I do have the two, so I guess it's an option.

I did great isz amd it was quick and easy.

I want to say I read in a wiki somewhere that it's the easiest Chalice option, but
Ebrietas
is at the bottom layer? Agh.

I guess it's not necessary to complete for the Red Jelly, but not looking forward to that.

I wish I framed art somewhere. Would love this Bloodborne lithograph that the PlayStation Store is selling for $40.

Fuck that's so nice. I usually don't spend that much on a print but I had to. A good size, low-run so it will be somehwat unique. Thanks for posting this. That size is really common so it should be no problem getting it framed.

well, holy fuck at the blood starved beast ng+. i almost got it but i've died countless times. i can't summon alfred, the summon sign isn't there (i've accepted to collaborate with him but he doesn't appear) and summoning people makes her more resistant. might as well grab anti poison stuff and do her solo

Who is that
Woman in White before Mergo's wet nurse? I can't speak to her. Am I supposed to kill her?

she doesn't drop anything, and if you beat the nurse and go out she take a bow and disappear. she's also hurt in the stomach/womb, maybe she's the mother? also near her there's a iosefka blood, dunno why.

I'm fighting
Ebrietas
and can't beat the fucker. That area attack kills me immediately. Had health way low too. I'm ringing my bell.

Just beat the NF boss. Wasn't too bad, but still took me 2 tries. Second try lasted about 2 minutes, if that. Bolt paper and visceral attack (fluke stun shot) drained him like no man's business!

Okay, this is it.
The Hunter's Dream is on fire at the moment and the doll wants me to speak to Gerhman. I also have the three umbilical cords. I've gathered that they somehow affect the story at the end. What should I do?

So I was curious about what happens if you make a chalice dungeon with a Foetid offering so I made one for a central Pthumeru root chalice dungeon.

I think it may have made the enemies a tiny bit stronger. I seem to be taking a bit more damage. Also, some enemies have a weird aura around them. Not sure what that is for.

So I went through the first two layers, and a bonus area at the start of the third layer, hoping for epic loot. There has been absolutely nothing. I have only found 2 sarcophagi and they contained absolute crap (coldblood and shaman bone blades). Also, I found almost no chalice materials. I think I will make a loss on this dungeon. Absolutely horrible.

Still, one interesting thing happened. As I entered the third level, I received a message about a bell-ringing woman ringing a sinister bell. I guess that's for PVP? I quickly found her and killed her, but I think I may have made a mistake. Because she doesn't re-spawn. She may have been the main reward of the dungeon, and I stupidly killed her.

But how does PVP work in a chalice dungeon? How would someone be able to invade my dungeon? Is there a way to invade a random dungeon, or would any invaders have had to enter my dungeon themselves first to be able to invade me?

Meaning that in order to have been invaded, I would have pretty much have had to have invited the invader myself by sharing my glyphcode with them?

If you're ready, use those three cords and go speak to him

She's
the super secret optional boss, Queen Yharnam, found at the bottom of the chalice dungeons. She plays a crucial (yet indirect) role in the story.

Depends on what you want to do.
Eating them cords and then refusing his offer will get you the third ending. Not eating them and refusing gets the second, and just accepting gets you the first. You can also cheat the system by copying over your save right now to a usb/online storage and then rewriting it over your real save after you get an ending to be able to just see them all without having to beat the game 2 more times.

Blood letting beast down on 1th try (by the skin of my teeth)

Now onto that defiled chalice which I have heard so much lovely things about.

Oh and I finally got invaded! And I won! Go me!

I consumed them and spoke to Gehrman and accepted death, woke up with the sun rising. Is that the true ending or did I fuck up? I didn't think to copy my save file over to USB lol. Oh well, I'm playing this game again anyway so I'll go for the other endings. I thought I was supposed to fight Gehrman...?

Interesting. I still don't really understand the story of Bloodborne if I'm honest. Feels even more complicated than Dark Souls and Demon's! Will defo try the chalice dungeons now that I've finished the game

I am in the same spot.I ddint find the boss that hard.Is the defiled chalice dungeon the last one in order to get the trophy?

Sorry friend,
accepting death gets you the first ending no matter what you do. Since you didn't back up your save you are going to have to do it all again. :c

Just picked this up from Redbox. I need something to play on my PS4 but I tried one of the souls games before and couldn't really get into it--seemed juuuuust a hair too obtuse and simultaneously dense as far as gameplay went, which I understand is kind of the appeal but at the same time I have very little time for lately. Hope I can get into this one, I dig the monster designs and stuff.

i feel that bloodborne is a simplified souls on steroids. less weapon, more combos and movesets, waaaay faster.

Nearly finished my NG+, this'll be the first time I've ever finished a Souls-ish game in NG+, and wow it's crazy how much side content I missed going through the first time(I went in blind, didn't look up a single thing)

Just need to kill E
briatas, Daughter of the Cosmo
s and then I'll be done with all the side content, but man
her laser beam of death keeps getting me at the very end, I always see her healthbar nearly empty and think OH I CAN DO IT JUST A FEW MORE HITS, rather than trying to avoid it and then getting back in.

Finally platinumed the game. Loved almost every second of it. Some of the chalice dungeon bosses felt a little cheap. I don't think the traditional Souls series camera system is equipped to deal with large, quick bosses in relatively small areas. Since the camera collides with the geometry, it is very easy to end up in a situation where you're next to a wall and the boss is taking up the entirety of the screen. Also, there were a lot more frame rate issues (they could've been frame-pacing issues, but it's hard to tell since the stutter seems like a regular frame rate issue) in some of the later chalice dungeons.

The game's art quality is a lot more consistent than any of the previous games, where certain areas felt unfinished, but it doesn't feel like a world. More like just a section of the world. In comparison, Dark Souls felt a lot more 'complete,' if that makes sense.

I bought a PS4 last month for this game (and some others), so I feel pretty good about my purchase right now.

True is relative. Any of them could be the true one. You didn't get the one with the most boss fights though.

Conditions for each:

Ending 1:
Submit to Gehrman
Ending 2:
Don't eat cords, refuse Gehrman.
Ending 3:
Eat cords, refuse Gehrman.

I really wanted ending 3. I went out of my way to find the bloody umbilical cords! Oh well. If I restore saved data from the cloud storage (restores just before I went through mergo's loft middle, will I be able to go for ending 2 and 3? I guess I'll back it up onto a USB before I talk to him this time.

Will I also still keep the trophy from the ending I just got?

Interesting seeing the English voice-actors for different characters and comparing them to their appearance (Or in the case of Eileen, what you imagined their appearance to be) in game.

The Doll - Evetta Muradasilova

Gehrman - Allan Corduner

Father Gascoigne - Connor Byrne

Retired Hunter Djura - William Houston

Eileen the Crow - Jacqueline Boatswain

Alfred the Executioner - Daniel Flynn

Argh. Now I'm going to be ludonarratively dissonant when I play the game because I can't dissassociate the voice actors from the non-playable characters.

Trophies do not disappear once you get them. That is how a lot of people got all three of the ending trophies with just one playthrough. Just know you will lose all the progress you made after the part where the game was backed up.

Can I access the chalices I've found in NG+ or will I need to complete everything before
facing Gehrman for the platinum?

So I just beat
Wet Nurse
and am probably very close to the end. Is there anything I should do before approaching
Gherman
? Where is the point of no return and is it easy to get all the trophies using could save?

Talking to him is the point of no return.

Check some guides to see if you missed any bosses etc.

Collect
umbilical cords and use them before Gerhmann for true ending. In true ending, killing Gerhmann is not point of no return. Point of no return is when you WARNING SPOILER kill final final boss.

Ok Bloodletting Beast is kicking my ass in the chalice dungeon, in ways that Ebrietas only dreamed of.

Are you fighting the second one without the head? I finished that fight about 15 minutes ago. Camera was all sorts of shit during it and I couldn't believe some of the hitboxes. Still, you need to go all out on this one. Stock up on fire paper if you can and aim for the head as much as possible. He can be stunned regularly if you use a blunt weapon like the Kirkhammer too.

You keep chalices that you already have while moving over to ng+. The ones you have already created also stay where they are as well.

Alright thanks for all the help. I've restored my old save. Just have to go through
Mergo's loft middle floor again but it wasn't difficult aside from those singing brain things. What's the point of dropping mother brain? Was it blocking something? I just done teh elevator thing immediately before exploring anywhere else

I found the second Bloodletting Beast and second Pthumerian Descendant the hardest bosses in the game. BB for the camera issues and PD for his ridiculous speed and apparently unlimited stamina.
