Leaked Battlefront info (40 players, heroes, free Ep7 DLC, FPS & TPS) [Full Screens]

What the hell, no campaign? And I am almost sure that there will not be an option to play battles against bots, like in the old Battlefronts. I just knew it. I was worried ever since I have known that EA got the rights to SW and that DICE is developing the game.

I am SO pissed right now.

Screw EA. Screw DICE.

I'm baffled by how many people are baffled that a MP-focused game such as this features no campaign.

Stream is experiencing technical difficulties.

Rise of the Empire -- as it's been stated multiple times already -- was just re-purposed multiplayer maps with voiceovers/cutscenes in between.

That doesn't matter. It was a campaign, let's stop pretending that it didn't have one by reducing it to being nothing more multiplayer maps with bots.

It had a story, it had cut-scenes. It's a story driven campaign. Ridiculous to suggest otherwise.

Lame they showed "game engine" stuff that is almost certain to end up being a poor representation of the final look of the game. Did anyone else have the stupid "I'm sorry we're having technical difficulties" bar split through the middle of their screen?

40 players max is a joke. I was expecting massive battles with 64 players at the very least, and possibly even hundreds. Even the old Battlefront games supported 64 on PC.

The lack of a campaign doesn't bother me one bit, though. Campaigns in these games are never good, ever.

Battlefront 1 had more than four planets, on the PS2, in fucking 2004

Battlefront 2 had space battles, once again on the rickety ass playstation 2, as well as more than four planets, in 2006.

stop making excuses for this shit. I'm not asking them to move mountains, I'm asking for things that were expected a decade ago.

Just because something did it in the past doesn't mean it should be on on every game that follows, it's a different developer with a different focus and goals, you just can't expect them to just cram every single feature from previous entries into their game. A good example is just how lackluster Bloodborne multiplayer design turned out compared to Dark Souls 2, the team just had a different vision that didn't turned out quite as good.

The absolute most barebones "story-driven campaign" possible.
