Yeah. Pictures from the exhibit for The Force Awakens had all sorts of new costumes in there, and said the X-Wings are used by a group called "The Resistance" and the Stormtroopers were from a group called "The First Order". Some people assumed it was just new names for the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire, but it's starting to look like the Rebel Alliance/New Republic is indeed still in place which is just going to increase speculation.

What does a female Stormtrooper look like? I mean, with their armor, you would basically expect them to look the same as their male counterparts, no? Please tell me that they aren't going to give them boob armor.

I assume they'd look exactly the same, just the combat chatter voice would be the most discernible difference.

Differences are in physique, voice and animations. So there will be a noticeable difference.
It has nothing to do with marketing. Microsoft doesn't allow for digital preorders of a game until it is gold. The Witcher 3 just became available to preorder yesterday because the game went gold. This is how they have always handled it for the Xbox One.

Sith Inquisitor named Captain Phasma, played by Gwendoline Christie from Game of Thrones. Apparently she's got a lightsaber of her own as well.

No spacefights sucks a bit but I actually played some Battlefront 2 again yesterday and those maps were reaallllly not very fun so I'm half okay with them not being in the game.
But then again I do realllly realllllllllly wish that they had been space station maps or maps that took place on a big ship or something, it's a shame that there won't be anything on coruscant.

Are you talking about only being able to do conquest or rush on one dlc pack at a time? Because that's not the case with the recent patch.

The lack of narrative, no space battles, and no Prequel Era content all stings a little bit, but only a little bit. My eternal caution granted me the safe bet that this would all be the case, and Star Wars speaks on such a magical level to me that I'll feel a narrative in my mind anyway, ha.
I want space, but I didn't care for it in Battlefront II, so I just have to hope there's another X-Wing or Rogue Squadron on our horizon. The one thing I have to scoff at is that DICE is launching our hopes and dreams with talk about how we can live out all our Star Wars battle fantasies, yet here we are lacking both Death Stars!

You can scope down with certain weapons as expected but not the same thing.
So how did you do this (play I mean)? I have this sitting on steam but have not installed it cause I thought the multiplayer servers were down?

There is single player, just not a campaign.
There's single player, but it's missions scripted on the multiplayer maps. There was never going to be a campaign especially considering how quickly they seem to be getting this game out.

I'm still not buying it entirely, but my colleague saw the game in motion yesterday and just told me that the in-game graphics shown at the event are actually "pretty damn close" to the trailer we saw, but that the animations "obviously aren't as smooth".

Oh I just played the instant battles with a bunch of AI troops. Online is dead unless you use gameranger or hamachi or any other kind of online LAN thing.
