Thank you! One more thing...that guy in the video is like 20+ levels higher than me. Maybe because I'm level 40, I'm struggling. What's the recommended level to fight them?

It's doable at your level. I did it at level 22 a few days ago. Just follow the strats and don't be too greedy with your attacks.

Move toward him. When he attacks, dodge toward him which puts you behind him for some butt hits, back out and repeat until dead

Walk forward and bait a swipe attack, then parry and visceral. You can also throw blood cocktails to distract him, then backstab and visceral. The rest is just dodging his charge and not being greedy. Fire paper and molotovs help, as do antidotes.

Antidotes, learn how to riposte the attacks and fire paper. Also just be careful and don't get too greedy with hits.

Thanks!

Can't you also use the beast pellets (think that is the name) that throws off his sent to go attack another area?

Nevermind I see someone mentioned it LOL

I read some place that anything more than NG+++ is extraordinarily difficult, where even with maxed stats players are killed in one to two hits and that killing enemies takes a considerable amount of time. Is this true? If so, I think having beaten the game just once is enough for me to put it away.

Guys, should I wait until NG+ to do the Chalice Dungeons? They apparently don't scale in difficulty with NG+, so any reason why I should bother now?

Can someone co op help me fix my busted
lumenflower gardens elevator
? Not sure if that will even work. Lvl 90 and have gaf password set

Edit: nevermind even co op doesnt work. So frustrating.

It is very tedious to do them all in a row and the first couple depths are stupid easy if u are too high level so i would recommend going ahead and starting them

How do I defeat the BSB? Any tips?

Dodge towards him. Get good at it now as it will come in very handy for quite a few bosses. Circle strafe, feel free to try and parry if you have some distance between you and he isn't charging. Otherwise just dodge towards him whenever he attacks. Heal and use an antidote when necessary, but you shouldn't have too much trouble with him. You'll end up at his back when you dodge towards him and you'll have plenty of time to get in a few hits. Rinse and repeat until he's dead

You can do it at your level, but the enemies will do a LOT of damage with their attacks, so you'll have to be extra careful. In the video I was 64, but thats a bit overkill, really. With my first character I was around 50 and managed it, even though I used the "one at a time" strategy (I don't recomend this strategy lol).

I'd say 50 is fine
After doing the first few chalice dungeons they seemed like a waste of time so i sold all my chalice ingredients and got a hundred blood vials lol
They get super awesome IMHO. 15 unique bosses (about half of which are rad, the others easy), for one thing.

If you feel like you're going to be sated by a single story playthrough then maybe they aren't for you but if you love these games it's worth pacing out the early chalices so you can do the depth 4 and 5 ones later, which is where they get awesome. My last 25 hours of playing bb has been nothing but chalices.

You-only-live-once-atov.
Father G transformed with only a sliver of health makes his last lunge towards me. Hit him with one right there on the spot. If I had missed, his followup would've probably killed me That's where I got it from. :D

Just went to farm BVs at Witch's Abode, and I got a cutscene. Do I hop in this carriage? I'm gonna hop in this carriage.

Sooo, I'm level 213, near the end of my NG++, and you know, erm... I still don't know how to... reach that damn item in Cathedral Ward '-'

I like the sense of exploration and discovering secrets, so random dungeons are basically the exact opposite of what I'm interested in.

DUDE!

Go to the elevator inside the cathedral, go through the brigde (watch out for the snipers) and, instead of entering the building, go to the right and, at the end, where the path ends, you'll be able to fall to the lower floor. go there and drop from wood plank to wood plank until you reach the floor.

Follow the path and explore and you'll get to it

But there is actually so much of that in the depth 4 and 5 ones. The layouts get much more complex and tricky to navigate, there are traps everywhere, surprising fights...

They aren't as good as the handcrafted stuff but exploration is very much a part of why I'm enjoying them.

I do recommend just pacing out the early ones throughout a NG to avoid burning out on them. They are too easy/simple at first.

I really hope for more chalices as DLC (as well as story DLC of course!)

Any hints on 7th boss
Rom (i think he's #7)
. I've been summoned twice and
have been 1 shooted by the baby spiders Do I just need more HP?.

Probably, yes. But, if you're methodical and not greedy, you can beat the boss and minions without being hit.

Here's how I fight it:

I like having enough HP to be able to endure at least one attack, because in this case I can just hit, run and, if necessary, heal, until the boss is dead.

The chalice dungeons are just not that fun to me. I'm only doing them for the platinum and to see all the bosses. There's just not enough layout "puzzle pieces" to be randomized to keep it interesting.

The regular chalices are especially unforgivable, because they aren't randomized and still aren't good.

because the guy that stacks frenzy on you all the time should also be the guy that just tries to grab you and the guy that has the best grabs in the game.

Fucking hate those guys.

I've just met one for the first time 8). Did me, got him second time. I've changed my attire with better Frenzy defence stats.

Crowfeather set or Graveguard set + charge attacks + sedatives

How viable are the less scaling weapons like saw cleaver for ng+?

The saw cleaver and spear are is pretty good. The damage might not be the highest, but those are really fast and have pokes + hiden stats, if I remember correctly, both do extra damage to beasts.

Every weapon in the game is viable for NG+, honestly :)

I'm trying to play with my friend. Got the same password and worldwide and everything and in the same area. Not finding each other. He's wasting so much insight. Any tips? It was working well last night.

Ah yes, the beast bonus. Totally forgot about that. How much damage does it add?
