I think the simplest solution is probably the right one. Both have have probably made deals to help advertise it for different events at different times.

He is saying what all the other devs have, and what every person that has seen the gameplay has said.

The game looks stellar, and on par with the Announcement footage and today's trailer.

Frostbite 3 runs well on highend PC's, so that's your best option for getting something close to the trailer. Frostbite 3 runs poorly on PS4/XB1 as proven by BF4 and BF:Hardline. 1080p/60fps is very unlikely to happen on consoles. Just like on previous Frostbite titles EA will lower the resolution, drop graphical effects, have lousy AA, etc. all in an effort to maintain framerate.

I just think those graphics are entirely possible on a $3000 PC. What's that like 2xTitan X's and an i7? Maybe 2xGTX 980's instead?
If it looks like Hardline on a PC, I'd be very surprised and very dissapointed.
This trailer looks like what I'd expect the next big Frostbite game to look like. A step above DAI.

I don't think anyone's honestly expecting those graphics on a console though. Like you said, BF4 doesn't perform particularly well there and this footage of Battlefront is a massive step up from BF4 on consoles.

The way DICE is wording these comments makes me uncertain about gameplay graphics at least on the consoles and mid-range PCs. I hope they prove the naysayers wrong but I am not buying it yet.

Where are the leaks from the gameplay they are showing at the booth??? Come on internet!!

Pretty much this. I would expect it to be around the same graphics and same FPS on console (900p at a highly variable 60fps).

Hopefully there are performance increases over BF4 due to development of the Frostbite engine and the lower player count but Im not gonna hold my breath.

Its a massive step up from Battlefield on PCs as well though...I think the fact that it is a perfectly orchestrated cinematic though perhaps 'oversells' whats there.

Everyone is going on about the graphics but it's the sound that makes the trailer for me. Utterly beautiful. The sound of the speeders going by, the lasers, everything. The sound designers are the best in the business at DICE.

It makes a lot of sense. Sony probably bought the rights to put their logo in these trailers and make a special edition. Just like with Destiny. MS has Halo coming out and already does the same act with CoD. No need to spend money on a third FPS game for holiday 15.
EA Access is a total non factor, because every EA game will be on there.
But smart move by Sony. StarWars is probably the best brand you wanna be associated with.

Yeah, I love that they specifically made it look like the practical effect used in the films.
 
Am I the only one deeply disappointed by the Deluxe Edition? Or should I be glad that it doesn't include anything TOO significant that would penalized those who will buy the standard edition? I'm a bit conflicted, here.

Considering "instant access" weapons means they aren't even exclusive to Deluxe and the rest is just a few emotes, yeah, it's very bad for $10.

Premiere featured PS4 logos and Sony is tweeting from the event, so it appears to be Sony's.

EA Access has nothing to do with the marketing. If PS4 decided to adopt Access today, it would have the same benefit by default. It's an EA game thing, not an Xbox thing. Just like Hardline.
 
Well I will suck at flying if its anything like Battlefield jets. I can navigate but can't get very many kills or anything.
 
Looks incredible, but the game wont look like this. Dont want to rain on everyone parade, cause the game can be great. But lets not get our hopes up.
