RE: The costume.

While this movie is pulling from TDKR like crazy, I think there are enough divergences that you can easily side-step the idea that it's Miller's Batman. The logo is Miller, the ears are miller. The belt isn't, the color isn't, the texture definitely isn't.

In some ways, I think it has more in common with Lee Bermejo's Batman in Joker, which is and of itself an amalgamation of the film costumes, Lee and Miller.

Looking at this... it's either Ben gained 100+ pounds of fat and muscle before filming, or the bat suits, is 99% fake muscle

Man, the presence these two characters have just from this teaser is immense. Can't wait to see this, and then see the even bigger juggernaut that will be Justice League.

What a time to be alive :D

Why's that? Batman is older and joker is rumored to be in arkham.

Batman starts being Batman in his 30's. He's not 50 in this movie.

Also, I feel like we've heard some stuff that Batman was kind of a behind the scenes nuisance more than a public figure. Harder and harder to buy if he's been in conflict with the likes of the friggin' Joker for the better part of two decades.

Just seems off to me. Would make more sense if that was 2008 or something.

Bruce was in his early 20's when he started being Batman.

The film is a year away but they should have had second thoughts about showing that statue so close. Shit looks unfinished.

Not totally sold on Batman's armor. Need a better look at it.

The best thing about the trailer is to see how the movie will look.
I am very happy Snyder went with the stylistic choice similar to Watchmen, 300 and Sucker Punch. I feel this will help to contrast the Marvel movies even more, which is needed so audiences wont be completely tired of the avalanche of superheromovies to come.
Stylistic brooding from DC versus Joyful Realism from Marvel is a good tradeoff imo.

Also - just because it's so beautiful to look at, more gifs.

This movie looks fucking sweet. I understand being skeptical because of Snyder, but if you didn't smile at least a little bit after the last shot your inner child is dead.

I thought Man of Steel was pretty much steaming crap, but I'm still excited. Oh goodness. Though the Snyder trailer effect could be in full force.

For those still doubting Batman can defeat Superman get over it. Its Batman vs Superman, not Superman vs Batman. Batman will forever be the more interesting, superior character and gets to beat whoever he wants whenever he wants. This is the fact ladies and gentlemen. :)

It doesn't look very good, IMO. So fake. Particularly all the Superman shots. All screams try-hard. I like the look of Affleck, though.

Haven't enjoyed a Snyder directed film since Watchmen. I suspect as long as he's caught between "gritty style" and PG-13 that will continue.

Meh, the fanboys can have their inevitable Civil War vs. BVS pissing contests next year for all I care. Me? I'll be in the corner praying to all that is holy that Deadpool and the Warcraft movie don't suck.

I'm right there with you. In a year from now Age of Ultron, Mad Max, Jurrasic World, Ant-Man, MI: 5, Spectre, SW: TFA, Deadpool, Warcraft, BvS and Civil War. What a time to be alive.

I guess a way we can see Dick Grayson in the DCCU is through flash backs and future Batman solo films that are set before BvS.
Still such a huge bummer if they really established his death in the present day of DCCU.
