Superman doesn't want to kill Batman. He purposely holds back, Batman uses that to his advantage. Plus the badass suit he makes, plus some kryptonite? Batman has stopped Superman in the comics before, in fact Batman has stopped a lot of overpowered characters. This is not a new and original idea, so not sure why people freaking out.

Enough time and prep Batman can vs almost anyone and it's been proved that way many times.

I think this Batman looks perfect for the Frank Miller homage they're going for, but I still hope that one day we'll see a live-action Batman that doesn't wear a great big rubber gimp suit. I don't know who decided that it had to be rubber, but I've never liked that shit. Something like Cap's Winter Soldier or Avengers 2 suits would be perfection. I know it doesn't read as 'bulletproof', but throw a line in there about space-age polymers or whatever and I'll buy it; what am I, a fabric scientist? Besides, Christian Bale's supposedly bulletproof suit didn't do shit when Harvey Dent shot him, or when he got stabbed, or bitten or backbreaker'd.

Drop the rubber and give me something that Batman can kick high and flip around and parkour in. And, y'know, actually put on and take off without needing Alfred's help and a spare half-hour

Batman is a heavily flawed character and wants to serve justice no matter what. It's a plot point in various of the conics, and the trailer has a quote about turning a man cruel. I am sure this movie will have its own spin on it, but Batman does not trust Superman. He has to stop him, because what if one day Superman goes evil? Oh boy, earth would be doomed. Or so Batman sees it.

I really hope we get a solo Batman movie. I'd love to see this version of Batman tearing through Gotham's criminal underbelly.

I just can't get over how good the suit look. It looks exactly how you'd expect an old, battle worn suit to look. Like he's proud of the bullet holes, the scars from all manner of cuts...it adds so much to the idea that he's an unstoppable beast.

2016 is officially the year of epic superhero costumes. Angel's from Apoc looks good, Deadpool's is just incredible and Batman's is just a thing of wonder.

Based Snyder will finally deliver the Batman we deserve. I loved Baleman and Nolan's films, but that Batman really wasn't that intimidating and the less said about the fight scenes the better. There is one: Superman's underestimation. He thinks he's invincible so he doesn't even try and then bam somebody beats the shit out of him and leaves him confused. Emotions play a big part in who wins who.

YES. I haven't read Superman in 20 years, but in the 90's he was pretty full of himself and that was his downfall from time to time. There was an issue where Joker fucked with his head easily, and many of his foes often were able to outsmart him. I love both of them, but Batman would make Superman his bitch.

In theory, but he lets his hatred for Superman neuter his intelligence. If he was really smart and focused, he'd make the world such a great place that they wouldn't need Superman. Instead he just creates suits and tries punching Superman repeatedly. The same way that Brainiac is a genius, but has such a hate-on for Superman that he constantly fucks with him instead of doing anything remotely intelligent.
