Being #1 online in this game is not much to brag for. Most people do private player matches. Hell, i could beat down your Blanka and I haven't played in a year. (i love shit talking in fighting games :P)

The thing is this is a NEW release for PS4, It's not like you can upgrade from Super Street Fighter 4 arcade for PS4. SF4 has never came out for PS4 which is why I'm not complaining about it .

I believe Ibuki is one of our newer recruits. I don't play much with the new guys, unless I gave them a tryout.

I was going to go to Evo this year to fight Red Ranger (you know him right?) because he shit talked, but since he simmered down, I have no further reason to go. I don't have anything to prove.
 
#1 in BP doesn't hold much weight. Anyone with enough time on their hands can get a high rank. It's measure of how much time you played moreso than skill.
 
Okay somebody needs to make a thread when we get the Vulva/Birdman moneymatch, stream it on twitch or whatever, I want to watch it.

Also I will definitely get this on PS4.

I disagree. To be able to reach and maintain A and A+ rank in this game, with it's terrible matchmaking and ridiculous point system is a huge accomplishment. Especially on PSN.

I'm not a scrub here.

I hear you all on the PS3 network issues. It didn't use to be like this but Ultra seriously added jank. I started out on 360 (Vanilla). But the Dualshock is like a million times better than the 360 controller for fighters.

Where are you getting your info from? In the online community, clans are alive and well. BCW, ANBU, BOTB, DSC, SClub and others are alive and well on PS3 and some on 360.

ANBU in particular, well, we do support our guys, whether it's tournaments or just organizing. ANBU plays all fighters-- Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Mortal Kombat, Marvel, Tekken, SF etc. We are WELL known in the online fighting community.

I'm just letting you know why I play on PS3 instead of 360.

I've been using my PS4 controller to play on PS3 though, way before they announced Ultra would be available on PS4.

Needless to say it sucks.

It does. But going to EVO and other tournaments that aren't local takes quite a bit more. It ain't that serious to me. I just have fun playing online and in the occasional offline tournament.

Probably going to pick this up/download it...not great at any fighting game since Soul Calibur II/III but a next-gen version of SFIV in prep for V sounds good and it's a price I can like...

I don't believe it's been announced other than cross play with PC players.
 
Going by the Steam database, there's at least one more set of costumes that has been in the works for some time. I wonder if they'll include it. Seems like it's probably complete enough by now, but I could see them releasing it shortly after based on this price point.

No, more like he said that he was/is the #1 ranked blanka on PSN, shows video evidence of it, and people jump on him because he stated a fact. he never said it made him better than anybody, or that he would body other people, or anything about his skill level. Others then come in saying that this achievement doesn't mean anything (LOL PSN, LOL RANKED).

FGC folk just looking for reasons to money match at this point.

Edit: Looking at his posts, he didn't even say he IS the #1 Blanka, just that crossplay would give him incentive to get back to that rank. The only people flapping their mouths are the people challenging birdman to money matches for no apparent reason.

Can't have somebody thinking they're any good at SF! Have to embarrass them for something I interpreted them saying!

Anyway, the question posed was will I go to Evo. I said originally I was going because I had a score to settle with someone, but since he pretty much offered an olive leaf, I no longer have anything to prove. This has always been my mindset in this game, so when I receive hate mail, I just laugh at them and keep it pushing.

Might want to read there champ.
