I've seen some terrible movie trailers, but this one takes the cake and eats it.
Camp worked in the 90s, when nobody took video games seriously and everything was edgy.
Good luck making good camp in an age when movie writers can't meme and actually good fun is risky.
But I'll keep slightly optimistic until proven wrong.

For someone who watched Turtles and the first Street Fighter in cinema, this looks fun. Very self aware, which is something all the other SF movies missed. Especially the horrible Chun Li movie. With a fun script, this could be a sleeper hit.

But og SF2 proportions aren't that big. Not compared to what followed. So the current cast like Bison aren't that bad, honestly.
