Roommates + Sex Sounds

I'll keep the long introduction short. I'm living with a set of new roommates since February, a guy I work with and his girlfriend.

On several occasions, I've heard them having sex. I've been totally okay with this, as I'm under the impression that this "comes with the territory" of living with another couple. They're not blatant about it, (banging walls or being ridiculous) but it's still pretty audible.

Whenever they hear me + a female friend of mine, my roommate always makes it a point to mention it the next day. He doesn't mind it, but the past couple of times his girlfriend heard it and wasn't as amused as he is. She seems to be getting annoyed by it.

Have any of you had similar situations? Is there a common ground that could please everyone?

Since they are in the same room, does it smell?

All you have to ask yourself is whether or not the smell bothers you. If it does, simply telling them about it will make them stop.

So, tell them, "I can hear you too, you know?"

Not really sure what the problem is here. If she has a problem with it, point out that it's a two way street and table the matter.

hey Bro, sex waves which are green in the field of light that you can see in the photons practicality are part of the electromagnetic spectrum I wrote this using google voice type search keyboard thank you

Foursome?

You heard him have sex. He has heard you have sex.

Just be frank yo. My roommate was drunk and said "I hear you dany" when XXYC is over

It was funny but c'mon its just sex.

Your roommate's girlfriend is noisy during sex yet complains when she hears you getting it on? Does she have temporary deafness or something?

It's expected within the roommate experience. Roommate's girlfriend can just nut up and deal with it.

Its pretty fucked up actually. He either does it at night or in the morning when he thinks I'm asleep. This has happened on at least 15 isolated incidents

So hot. I'm gay and "straight roommate fantasies" have always been some of my favorite stuff. I never lived with one though, so you're living my dreams, haha.

Easy - the girlfriend is into you and is jealous/annoyed when she hears you. Throw her a bone and call out her name next time.

Just be a bro with the dude - tell him you can hear them having sex as well - not much you can do otherwise.

If she complains again just let her know that on occasion you can hear them but you don't make a big deal about it. Offer to play music if it bothers her that much. I haven't had a situation with a roommate, but on occasion when I lived in apartments with thinner walls you could hear when people got it on. You deal with it, move on, take a walk if it bothers you that much.

Sounds like your roommate will eventually step up his game soon.

I had a roommate who used to have sex with his boyfriend to the sound of Britney Spear´s Best Of. Our rooms had a door linking them, there was a wardrobe on my side blocking the door but he had his bed near the door on his side so I could hear too much of it on my room.
I started to get an almost instinctive reaction to put on headphones as soon as Britney Spears started playing on his bedroom.

There's this thing called talking through which you could potentially communicate to him what you wrote here for all of us to see, which could result in him accepting your position. If you're not very good at it making a thread on GAF is the next best thing though.

Do you fap to it? I'd fap to it.

Hearing people have sex is a proper turn on. So much better than the fake moaning/screaming/gurgling sounds in porn.

This is a thing? What exactly is the appeal of the fantasy?

As to the OP, you can just politely point out to the girlfriend or roommate that you can hear them all the time, and you sort of expect similar consideration as you're in close proximity and it's going to be kind of hard to ever be silent.

Looking for Straight Masturbating-Roommates.

Yes. I've asked him to stop several times but he keeps doing it. He claims there's nothing wrong about it and that I'm the weird one.

Ask him, did he grow up sharing a room as a child/teen?

Is ue straight? Ask him if he wants a hand next time he does it. that'll either weird him out and he'll stop or it could be the beginning of a blossoming relationship.
