There's Now an E3 Press Conference For The PC, Hosted By Day9 [Up: More Devs]

Because games will inevitably overlap, they're already too long and boring, and GAF never ceases to complain during them because a new game is not announced every second of it.

Ah good point. Thing is I am expecting a few more exclusives hopefully. I don't really play consoles anymore outside of a WiiU I have now a days and I don't play a lot of AAA games on my PC. I like a lot of middle tier stuff.

That said with the companies listed, there has gotta be some overlap. I am hoping there are other companies as well.

No Bethesda on the floor lends credence to the rumors that Fallout 4 might be an Xbox One exclusive. This time Spencer has gone too far.

Bethesda has their own conference this year though, remember?

This is a nice first step, but we all know PC isn't a Real™ platform until it has representation in Hyperdimension Neptunia.

Seriously though, how many new conferences is that this year? I guess we had to make up for Konami and Nintendo anyway. Interested to see how this turns out.

I'm curious what it will be like. Is it going to be like most of the other big conferences with a focus on AAA games or if it will have a more balanced approach?

This just shows that PC gaming is really surging as of late. Also, please god don't let it be full of repeats from other conferences.

Bethesda is having their own conference.

SQUARE ENIX - I know it will probably be only JC3, but please suprise us with some JRPG goodness o.O

Edit: Forgot Deus Ex. Still...

PC 2 incoming?

Nice to see Microsoft finally doing something other than saying We care about PC gamers.

Question is 'is this really needed'. Well there's Paradox but with most games being multi-platformers.

While it's neat to have a specific PC thing, in practice most everything at E3 comes out on PC anyway.

Jep, which is why i've never really missed a "pc" conference.

It's nice that companies like Paradox get a bit more exposure at an event like E3 though.

True however I want to see more stuff made for PC in mind, rather than this pile of FPS games, this lesser pile of third person shooters, this PS4 or XB1 game you won't get for a year because of an exclusive deal, and these indie games you were going to get anyway.

I want to see some more CRPGs or something. Some more experimental stuff but, again with the companies listed so far I probably won't get that but I can be hopeful.

The PS4 port of the Steam Port back to Steam of FF7.

Not too sure over the hype for this, almost every game announced at a console conference comes to PC.

Regarding Square Enix, don't overhype yourselfs, remember that Triad Wars is still a PC exclusive!

Excellent idea, but why in the nine hells is this hosted by PC Gamer? They're easily the biggest douches in the gaming world today.

Should be hosted by NeoGAF.

Guys, let's make it happen. BlimBlim guarantees good video quality and EviLore kicks Peter Molyneux in the ballsack.

Bohemia and CIG

me excite

damn, so many press conferences this year!

Microsoft
Bethesda
EA
Sony
Ubisoft
Square Enix
Nintendo(?)
PC Gamer

So now we have conferences for...everyone.

Best E3 ever? Massively hyped and can't wait. There is bound to be some amazing announcements. Hoping for indie game announcements to show up for the PC conference. Also some new trailer from Star Citizen would be nice.

LR:XIII maybe lol (where the hell is it?)

It was always set to release during Spring 2015. No concrete date yet, but it has to be just around the corner.

I bought FFXIII, witnessed the terrible performance and never even made it past the first fight.

In a perfect world, Square Enix would be here for Japanese games for PC and more Final Fantasy. In this world, it's going to be about the Eidos side. :/

lol, same shit every year. Every third party game is apparently Xbone exclusive at one point.

Anyway, this is interesting but getting some news on a few upcoming games and maybe a few indie announcements is about the extent of what I'm expecting.

They said they want to put FF15 on PC but we are talking probably a year or years after the PS4 and XB1 release, so I don't even expect to see it there.

Kingdom Hearts is a fever dream though, although those games on PC would be cool as I barely even got to play those games. Not because I don't have a PS2 I just keep forgetting to try em.

The reason people are excited is because for years PC ports and games have been an afterthought for many developers and whilst that is still true for some developers many of them are now taking the PC space very seriously.

So whilst it may seem insignificant it's actually quite important.
I know, however all of the developers/publishers on there already take PC seriously (Square Enix is so-so, Human Revolution was tailored for PC but Final Fantasy on the other hand...)

I'll be tuning in, but I'll be surprised if it's more than just extended gameplay.

Now if only it weren't hosted by PC Gamer. Though I'm not sure who else would really be appropriate yet impartial regarding distribution platforms. Kind of the nature of PC, for better or worse.

...oh right, I guess actually Microsoft would in theory be perfect but...yeah not in this universe.

How dare you remind me of this
