About as hard as it is to record PC footage for 90% of the titles that get marketed.
Arkham Knight is showing PS4 footage for every preview lately. Don't wanna see that rationalization.

Has anyone heard if the day one patch is available yet for the reviewers or are they still playing an earlier build?
Last I heard the PS4 version of the game was only being sent out to reviewers with PS4 dev kits.

Why not hook your PC up to your tv?
This, so much.
I think it's pathetic that people have to wait in seeing a product that they're paying, or have paid for. Just before Launch. smh
While i'm pretty sure this won't be a Skyrim Ps3 episode, but still. I like seeing what i fucking paid for, specially since i pre-ordered the Collectors Edition.
*sigh

Wouldn't common sense dictate you don't pay before you see the product?
Personally I don't have time/ patience/ know-how to endlessly fiddle with settings/ updates/ drivers/ etc... I just like to pop my game into my PS4 and play.Indeed, that's what i was thinking too, just buy a good wireless mouse and keyboard and you're in, i see plenty of space for a PC in that room
Well he has some point with CE pre-order. That shit got announced year ago and got sold out basically in 12 hours after announcement. Finding one now is like looking for unicorn in downtown of NYC.

True.
And why i've never liked pre-ordering games.
But there are some (rare) occasions, where i must. lol
Platform wars should be stopped before they even start, that shit will ruin this thread.
I guess you missed my point, most multiplats show console footage except for maybe the reveal and there is no sign of PC stuff until it releases.

still waiting for damn PS4 footage. that Russian blogger who made hour-long youtube video is playing it right now. first he told there's so little difference - one would have to look really hard to find them. and some hours later he told that there're freame rate drops during battles.
damn it just press damn ps4 magic button and everyone would be happy...
I'm saying what they are doing by withholding footage is not normal. Whether this bothers you is up to the individual. As long a we see some extended footage before release I'm OK with it, but I don't think it is a good move. If it looks significantly worse I think there will be more teeth gnashing now than if it was shown a while ago.
PlayStation posted the teaser reel of their host playing PS4 on Facebook, but haven't posted the actual feature yet for us to see the footage from the play sessionConsidering amount of shit they are already getting for PC version graphics that got severely downgraded, tho depends who you ask about that, I doubt it would hurt them much more if console players lost their shit over console version graphics. I'm not saying PC version looks like shit or that console version will look like shit, but that I doubt they are intentionally hiding anything.
People have very high and almost unrealistic expectations from TW3, both graphically and gameplay wise. Partly fault of CDPR and partly fault of community itself.
Btw didn't someone in this thread have some source/friend who told him that PS4 footage was recorded last week, but Sony Poland wanted to do editing themselves?
On an openworld game ?
Maybe he didn't look enough in the distance.

PS4 version will look fantastic.
As good as PC Ultra at 60fps in 4K?
Of course not.
But fantastic none the less.
Never played either of the previous games, but the fact that this open world has piqued my interest. I'm also looking to get lost in a RPG and this seems to have some incrediable attention detail seems like a winner.
How is the combat though? I do like good gameplay and it can be hard to get a decent impression from videos. I believe the combat system changed from the 1st to the 2nd game. What about the 3rd? Again, I have watched videos and its realtime fighting, but are their different settings, or can you pause the game or something? Some of it did look a bit janky?
How bad off story wise will I be if I jump straight into the 3rd as well...
I am more interested in how it performs. That is why I need to hear more about framerate especially under stressful moments.
The LOD is baked into the assets (due to the middleware they are using) causing all LOD related things to be the same on all platforms (very unlike that they would produce a different set of assets for different platforms)
Not sure if anyone has asked this yet. Will their be like a pre load for this on steam like the weekend before its out or anything?
And on what basis you can be sure they don't do tailored lod for each plateform ?
It's mid Tuesday in Poland. Where's the console footage?
I think we will be back to PS3/360 territory in regard to performance, this is no cross gen and first gen era anymore, games are more demanding, expect 30 with drops as a default for open world next gen games from now on, probably with linear and very demanding games as well.
And on what basis you can be sure they don't do tailored lod for each plateform ?
Assuming they haven't tweaked assets individually per platform, or had tools that sped up making changes.
believe me when I say that this is going to be one of the greatest rpg's of all time. The Witcher 2 is still incredible to this day and although it's not open open world it's still kind of close and very cool.
To me, this game is the epitome of what a fantasy rpg should be and I only wish more games were like this. It's all about choice and hugely different things happening depending on the choices you make. I can't wait to play this, it's going to last me for a very long time because it's the type of thing you can play multiple times and not feel like you're repeating yourself at all.
These are quite the conclusions you're jumping to. It's Tuesday.. They said this week. How is it looking more and more like we won't see anything until 2+ weeks from now?I'm having doubts we'll see any console footage this week, regardless what was said. Next Tuesday, I'm gonna be playing Final Fantasy X HD Remaster on the PS4, which will keep me busy until the TW3's actual release. It's looking more and more we won't see any console footage, until after the game's release.
I'm sure its going to look good on consoles, I wouldn't be worried. Sure its not going to look like the recent PC footage, but I don't expect the differences to be huge. I do though expect people here to scrutinize every frame of the upcoming console footage and go nuts over the differences.
