I do believe you though. Me not being able to access my PS Now games was where I first discovered the issue.

I read through the whole thread. 95% of the people with the same issues were part of the UK PS Now beta. It's not confirmed but highely likely that it's responsible.
 

Thanks for this, I was also taking part in the PS NOW Beta for the UK.

I called Sony yesterday and they've passed on my issues to their engineers and have given me a ticket to call them back with today.

Still have all the exact same issues people are pointing out in this link. This may very well be the last beta I take part in for Sony.
 
Suffering all the same issues as OP :( Sony got back to me quickly with my initial email (Before I had figured out what was really going on, I only knew I couldn't purchase a piece of DLC I was trying to purchase), but I've heard nothing back since. Every piece of digital content I've ever bought has been wiped from my download list on the webstore ha, hopefully this doesn't get dragged out through the whole bank holiday.
 
As someone who has signed up for the beta but hasn't been able to use it (bad connection, ended up deleting the app completely), I was scared to load up my PS4 but everything seems fine. So if there's anyone who is in the beta but hasn't switched on their PS4 in the past few days (not sure how sleep mode would factor in), I'd turn off your router, delete the app and fingers crossed you'll be safe like me.
 
Just got off a call with PlayStation Support again, they told me the problem has been escalated to their head office and that I will receive an email from them as soon as the issue has been solved.

They're at least working on the problem over the weekend, I guess.
 
Did my bit at phoning them but just nada, nothing. The guy was really helpful and apologetic but said basically engineers did become aware of the issue yesterday and started working on it but the support team was only briefed on it properly today at 11 am and as of yet there is literally no solution or short term fix ha. I asked if, once engineers have solved the issue, that will be that or if the afflicted will have to do anything on their end, and he said perhaps we might have to restore licenses then, and that they would try to get something up on the blog. Bleh. He told me it was to do with the beta though, so I guess that's confirmed, if it wasn't already.
 
I have this now too. 😐 No games are actually locked but I can't download anything new and it doesn't recognise I have PS+ anymore.

Not hopeful of this being fixed before the end of the bank holiday...
 
Dawn of the 4th day, and nothing has been fixed.

I just sent them an email, let's see what kind of response I get:

I'm emailing to check up on the progress on a recent ticket I opened up through support; the ticket number is "TICKET NUMBER".

This is the 4th day where I've been unable to access any of my content on my PS4 as my PS+ subscription has completely vanished, as has everything in my services list. All my purchases are still showing up in my transactions list online, as are the expiration dates on all my PS+ games. Right now the PS4 is useless with this issue that I've been told is linked to the PS NOW Beta for the UK.

I know I'm not the only person who has been affected by this issue, as threads about it have been popping up all over the internet about it this weekend. Not a single person has been able to solve this issue.

I would just like an update on the situation if that is possible, being in the dark and not being able to access thousands of pounds worth of content which I have been purchasing since 2009 is quite frustrating.

Wonder if they'll compensate us in any way once it's fixed. Like give us all an extra month of PS Plus for free or something.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
 
You cant even access your games? Man that's bad. I cant access online play or cloud storage,but my free PS Plus games are still playable as are any others on my system at the moment. Guess it's worse for some than it is for others. Is ge Plus icon next to your name on your system? It is on mine.

No PS+ icon next to my name.

I first noticed the issue late at night when the support lines were closed so I tried formatting my PS4's HDD to try and solve the issue.
 
You cant even access your games? Man that's bad. I cant access online play or cloud storage,but my free PS Plus games are still playable as are any others on my system at the moment. Guess it's worse for some than it is for others. Is ge Plus icon next to your name on your system? It is on mine.

It seems that if you didn't have your console set as your primary (ie. it has to check the licence every time you play) OR you tried to restore licences then at that point you would lose access to your games - in both cases because it is currently unable to read your licences/services properly.

So basically if you were one of the first affected and tried the usual troubleshooting steps you'll be worse off now.

A workaround for anyone that has only lost their ability to play online, create a new PSN account and you can get a free trial of PS+ (if it doesn't immediately offer you this try and play any game online from the new account and you should get a 2 day trial offer). Since PS+ entitlements apply to all accounts on the system so you can then play online from your usual PSN account.

I am so fucking glad I ignored Sony support and didn't try to restore licenses.

Haha yup, exactly my position. Sony's advice just made it worse, I can only really play disc based games right now, and nothing else. Still no progress. The lack of back and forth on the status is kind of frustrating too, even if there's not much to say.

I wouldn't even bother deleting it as I got the problem after I deleted the app after a game failed to launch through it.

Maybe disconnect from the internet first?
 
I'm curious to know what makes this problem specific to UK (If I understand well, there is no problem for NA PS Now beta testers? Is the beta on different versions between the 2 regions?)

Yes UK only , and yes on two different versions - timing wise it seems there was an update to the beta late Thursday / early Friday (adding more titles) and that seems to be the starting point.

I have a feeling that if this happened on a normal day it would be fixed quickly but the fact that it happened over a weekend (a long weekend here in the UK as today is a holiday) is part of the reason why its still 'broken' (*)

(*) for me my PS4 tells me i'm not in PS+ (which I am) , it will not allow me to :

Launch downloaded games from PSN
Launch DLC for games downloaded from PSN
Play online games (it tells me that i need to join PS+ and gives me a click button for a free trial which goes to an error screen).

I can play disk based games fine and I have a US account on my system (without PS+) which can access titles and play games fine so its just my main UK account thats broken

Provided your console is set as your primary then just don't restore licenses and you should be fine in terms of being able to continue using digital content. If you really want to play online in the interim I posted a workaround earlier in thread.
 
I got into the beta, but never got around to redeeming my key, I guess I dodged a pretty big bullet here...


After seeing situations like this, the Resident Evil and Driveclub DLC situations in another thread, these account issues worry me and really put me off digital on PSN
 
My Spotify was supposed to end it's free premium subscription the day this happened but because I paid through PSN it's carried on without me having to pay.

I stay far, far away from any Sony beta software. I was even wary of Microsoft's beta program, but trust them more not to brick my system.

iirc, the new Xbox Preview terms of use means that they cover anything they fuck up anyways even outside of warranty, but either way, i've been in every preview program from the start on XBL and been fine, so i'd probably consider them pretty "safe".

Yup, that's the one. I'm locked out of downloading any plus games, anything I've ever purchased, if I check on the webstore my download list is empty, and I can't even access netflix or amazon instant. Everything just knocks me back.
 
Any recent updates to this? I've had to use my US account for d/ling my TV/film apps and am still locked out of my UK account for online, games etc :(

This is going to get awkward if it lasts another day. Anyone who hadn't downloaded April's PS+ stuff yet is going to lose it tomorrow.
 
I just got off the phone with support and seem to have actually gotten a decent update from them.

I asked for an update on a ticket I opened up on Thursday and he asked me if I was a part of the PS NOW Beta (I indeed am). He then went on to explain that they are trying to get this problem sorted out by mid-week, this being the worst-case scenario.

The guy also mentioned that he also is having this issue and just wants to play as Jason in MKX which is releasing this week.

So maybe we are looking at this problem being fixed within the next couple days after all.

Mmm, maybe. I wouldn't call that a decent update though, since they told me that on the phone onnn saturday? Whenever I posted my phone conversation up the page or on the last page. I mean it'll be sorted out sure, but they are literally still regurgitating the same lines to you as they were on saturday. Also, mid week? It's tuesday haha. So worst case scenario is tomorrow which would put them at hoping to fix it by today? Hopefully. You can probably tell by my reply here, the salt is starting to seep in haha.

Hopefully man! I'm just glad this thread is here ha, there's been so little acknowledgement from them elsewhere ie. that blog post support told me would go up never materialised etc, if it wasn't for this, I'd have no real idea what was going on.

I'm paranoid now that this has happened to me and I can't check right now.
At least they're working on a fix, but I think I'd have a heart attack if my entire download list disappeared.
 
I have slightly different problem - I can't even sign into PSN. I tried to sign in on PS4, Vita and PC, but nothing works, and it' seems I'm not the only one (there's also this post on Reddit - tho I didn't move or change any Internet settings on my router). Everything worked fine last week, but now I can't access PSN anywhere.

Edit: I tried restarting my modem and router, but nothing helped. PS4 still shows me the CE- 33987-0 error (same situation as this guy/gal), and I still get "Site not available" message when I try to access PS Store on my PC.
 
Seriously this shit should be getting WAY more attention than it is. I've seen PSN go down for a matter of hours before and get big threads along with articles on major sites. What gives?

Why? I know it must be annoying for you but it's only effecting a small sub section of players taking part in a limited availability closed beta event - it's not something that's having a big enough of an impact on all players to garner that level of coverage.
