Please stop, hes the one thats been most affected by the nefarious Dio and even already faced certain death from him once. Additionally, design wise, he is most interesting up there with Ceaser and Joseph.

One think I do like about this season is that we at least didnt have to endure any really painful moments, the thought of THAT moment in pt2 still makes me sad. Definitely one of the few anime scenes to make me cry pretty badly. .

The plot of the entire series is the curse of the Joestar bloodline for being connected to Dio, lol.

And even then Polnareff lost his sister.

Well Dio is a scoundrel all things considered :V

Oh man, that part us manga readers had been waiting for was great. Really liked the music during it.

Who would've ever thought that someone with a name like Vanilla Ice would make shit get so real

DTL, what do you think of the nefarious Dio in this ep?

Also dat victory, D'arby Senior got off easy XD.

edit: "Suck on my sword and die!"? loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

I've seen this gif before, but I had no idea it wasn't a type of fan edit until this episode.

It was a cool solution to the fight, especially because it represented a bond between Joseph and Jotaro, but I'm not sure how D'arby didn't see the Hermit until it was over. Shit's bright purple, and he was easily at an angle to look at Jotaro's controller while he was freaking out about the cheating. I guess I'll chalk it up to him relying too much on his stand's vision that he forgot how to look at what is really in front of him, which is what Jotaro might have been saying when he stated his brother would have easily seen what was going on.

Cool/Vanilla Ice seems to be a neat, immediately threatening villain. I enjoyed Iggy's immediate victory against the hidden stand user.

It looks like it, but it's actually from a commercial for the recent JJBA fighting game, which is spoilery as hell so go search it up at your own risk people!

Something that they didn't really do with Atum's vision effect was that whenever Jotaro answered "YES!" his soul would flare up like fire, and when it was "NO!" his soul would flare up with these little lines with blobs on the end.

The reason I point this out is that I'm pretty sure that the text warping effect they do in the OP is meant to be a reference to this.

Btw, because I don't think they'll ever really mention it again. The user that Iggy took out was named Kenny G and his stand is Tenore Sax.

I du! I du! I du! E-du! E-du! Good ending to the fight with D'Arby.

Vanillu Ice is really threatening :x I'm hoping to see some Polnareffu + Iggu teamup action.

Man it's so weird for stands to go from tarot cards, to Egyptian Gods, and now "Tenore Sax" and "Cream" with Cream being one of the most powerful of this series lol

Before Sho Hayami voiced the roles you may know him for such as Aizen from Bleach or Tohsaka Tokiomi from Fate/Zero, he voiced a little role in the 1998 Jojo's Bizarre Adventure fighting game by Capcom known as Vanilla Ice, and he now has reprised that role for the anime.

Super neat.

First half was hilarious.

Second half was totally fucked!

I don't remember this at all from the OVA.

The OVA basically took the same basic idea for how Vanilla Ice was introduced to the gang, but completely changed everything else.

Fantastic episode. Jotaro the GOAT with the poker face and Joseph = best grandfather ever confirmed.

But man, the second half.. shit got real.

Joseph has a robot hand, became friends with a cybernetic nazi while being able to convince them to fight for a greater threat, and took down the ultimate lifeform all while marrying a Creedence reference. Of course he's awesome.

Happy Friday! I created some Smash Bros/Jojo's Bizarre Adventure t-shirt designs, check 'em out.
