The game looks amazing to me and this is the most hyped I've been for a game in ages.

I don't even know why they are bothering. If the Review embargo is up in a couple days then it doesn't matter. Plus those vids are actually getting people hyped.
Yep, another high point for sure. It is easily the most breathtaking and atmospheric open world game I have ever seen. It's easy to take that comment as being built on hype, but what we are seeing provides the evidence.

People who are more familiar with the news and marketing of the game, has CDPR mentioned or hinted at how many different creatures there are to hunt?
All we know is that it is supposed to be quite varied and they have mentioned that there are monsters even larger than the griffin we have seen so much of.

Nice, thanks man. I went ahead and pre-ordered the World of the Witcher as well. Since this'll most likely be the last Witcher game for a while I'm going all out with buying all the swag.

Those streams are mostly terrible. I've seen so many comments stating "graphics look shit", you'd think by now people would understand how streaming works, but given those comments I can't really blame them.

As for your question, like ironbro said they are supposed to be quite varied.
Then maybe CDR should send out more official gameplay videos to Gamersyde for high quality versions. I'm still waiting for the high quality version of the Playstation Poland video but at this point, it's better to just wait for Gamersyde to get the review copy themselves.

Somewhat. I've checked out a few videos and gifs of people just running around as Geralt. I watched AngryJoe fight a creature and once they beat it I turned off the video. I want to go in as blind as possible but I'm not kidding myself that I'll be able to go fully when I frequent GAF lol
Doesn't lore state that he's immune to STDs? That's one of the reasons why he's so popular with the ladies: they know they can't contract anything.

Well if you are interested you can check this out, it just talks about how they designed the monsters and has no spoilers in it save for probably that big redmaned zebra thingy charging geralt, which you probably saw as it's been posted about 100 times by now.

I don't know much about the lore, but i would love to explore underwater and find an Atlantis-like temple or something like that.(not just killing monsters)

For what its worth, I watched over an hour of gameplay with no notable frame rate problems that I can see.
About 80 - 70 different types of monsters
Haven't heard them talk about it recently but at some point they did say ~80. No idea how many of those are actually unique since there seems to be a lot of variations who share a "skeleton" and animations but still look completely different and have different behaviors.

I suspect some are going to be "variations", don't expect 70 really different creatures.

I think its due to the lighting effect not reacting correctly to the multiple sparks of light he's casting.
Yes, there are underwater missions, also secrets and hidden areas(caves, monster dens).
