Kotaku also mentioned the framerate (on PS4). Heads up-
maybe thats why they didnt send out Xbox one review copies...the issue might be even worse there.
I am sure day 1 patch will fix this for the PS4

You can only believe in yourself, no one else will.
I have a very capable PC and was considering picking up the PS4 version to so I can play in the living room, but I can't deal with that crap so I'll just stay with my PC version
Kevin also gave Dragon Age a 9 and Bloodborne a 9 his opinion doesn't mean much.
Not to mention CD flew the gamespot guys out to their workplace for like a week.
I was right, there was no way this game wasn't going to get high scores regardless of it's actual quality.
Yeah, I read similar quotes in every AAA game lauch. Bloodborne, Project CARS, AC Unity, TW3, Evolve, The Evil Within, etc.... every fucking time.
"Ey boys, don't worry, there are performance fixes in Day 1 patch. Don't listen pre-release date reviews performance complaints".
Kevin VO, Chris Watters, and Danny Odwyer are the good reviewers at GamespotI'm not sure I trust that guy Kevin Van Nord.
These reviews are giving me major oblivion vibes. That was one of my most favorite experiences last gen.
Eurogamer.net:
"Ambiguity and the messiness of human life. Games have already proven that they can build and populate open worlds, even worlds as majestic and romantic and wild as this one. But this stuff is a reminder that the Witcher 3 is trying to do something different. It is trying to make an open world feel convincingly inhabited, to give it the warp and weft of narrative history. That's a pretty interesting quest, and CD Projekt is a pretty interesting adventurer, beating a path into strange and bewitching new places. The result is that this Polish studio's first open world is one of the greatest we've ever seen."
the fact only VG seem to have this problem so significantly, makes me wonder if theres a problem with their debug ps4.
Hope we get some information about this from other reviewers
Yikes... if journalists can spot framerate issues, that doesn't bode too well.
Going to GB for the reviews is like subscribing to X-Art for the cinematography, it's there, but you're kinda missing the whole site's raison d'être.

Aw fuck it. Just preordered.
PC version is a must for the very reason of modding out the weight limit![]()

over the last two weeks, weve increased performance on all platforms and started working full speed on the expansions, Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine.
Game is utter shite confirmed!

They'll have the reviewer on The Lobby later today for a longer discussionA 10/10 from Gamespot is the only thing that strikes me as odd.
That IGN review doesn't match the score they gave it. It's just i as I thought, 100 hours with loads of padding and meaningless fetch quests, exactly the same as dragon Age Inquisition. The first paragraph was about how huge the open world was.. Same as da:I. Combine this with the shitty UI and inventory system means it's not a purchase for me.

I think it's the 9th one ever.
Ocarina of time, Chronic Cross, Soul Calibur, Tony Hawk 3, MGS4, GTA4, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Bayonetta 2 are the other 10s

10/10 from Gamespot!? That's massive, they don't hand those out left and right.
