The Witcher 3 PS4 gameplay

My PS4 copy was dispatched this morning from Simply Games! Should be here tomorrow, except I'm away on business in the Netherlands until Sunday D: Going to be a long weekend.

Anyone else order CE from Amazon? Should have done in store, but never got around to it. Estimated delivery date says Thursday :(

With past games the shipping date usually updates to release day on Friday or Saturday, hoping that'll be the case here. I did email contact them about it, but didn't do much good.

Just curious if others are in a similar situation. Can't wait!!

Last time I tried this at target the computer wouldn't let him sell the game to me. So the person most likely will have to actively work around the system to sell it to you meaning they will have to actively want to break street date (and also find a manager who also wants to). I'm assuming Walmart had a similar system.

So most likely it will be fruitless.

In the UK (not sure if in Europe also), the expected download date of the Witcher on PSN has changed from the 18th to the 15th (today).
The pre-load will hopefully start soon.
 
I am stationed here in UAE but I don't wanna buy the game cause its censored, where should I try to find the uncensored version?
 
Just got an email from TheGameCollection, my Witcher 3 has been shipped.

1st class too so should have it tomorrow, if not definitely Monday :D

Just got my email too, here is hoping for tomorrow.

Quick question, does anyone know if the day 1 patch is up already? Silly question i know but i saw that one of CD Projekt Reds guys retweeted that Tidux (Yeah i know, not to be trusted) tweet about him saying the day 1 patch improved performance and so i figured it must be up for people now than otherwise that would be pretty silly on his end.

My US pre-load included two large game chunks (~9GB and 23GB) plus so-called "Update" of around 400MB.

No idea if this is the patch though. Every developer handles Sony's digital delivery infrastructure differently, this may be a part of the original package.

Just turned 12am now (16th may) and it's availabe to download in Australia.
 
Got my game too.. thinking about streaming because everyone already streams at Twitch D; Shall I give it a go too? Would be good quality...
 
Gonna cave and get the Digital+Expansion Pass. Looking forward to this, it'll be my first Witcher game, and thanks to the catch-up on Kotaku, I'm ready for it!

As soon as I get word on which system performs better, I'm doing the same thing. Going digital on this sucker.
 
So I'm not really sure where to ask this. Can't find anything online. PSN changed the way they interact with PayPal this week so I was finally able to add my paypal to my PSN account (yesterday the add PayPal link was just dead for me). So today I try and preorder the Witcher 3 and after hitting add funds and then choosing PayPal as my payment method it just loads back to the store page with the add funds button. I'm going a little crazy here. Anyone else run into this or know anything about it?

Edit: US and I'm using the web store

with walmart's system. it is nothing like this. Once the game is in the computer, it is ready to be sold. If it is not in the computer, it comes up with the message saying "Item sell not allowed, not in computer system". This could happen with any item, not just games in walmart.

So if walmart has it out, its worth checking out to see if they can sell it. Once again, if the game is in their computer sell system, you can purchase it.

I learned this from my experience as a short time working in electronics at Walmart and from my friend who is a manager at walmart. You basically have nothing to lose to try. you can also make the argument alot of times that the game was out there and esculate it to see the manager. If you dont get the item at hand, you will get some sort of compensation.

Also if you live in the Los Angeles/Long Beach area, independent retailers are breaking streetdate today. just a heads up.

More like the disappointment vibe from everyone about the downgrade, like it's kinda toxic. I don't really mind the spoilers, but it makes me feel like the game is gimped now lol
