Version 37 was as fine as ever for GIFs but with v38 it's been very sluggish at times. 38.01 was supposed to fix the GIF issue but it did not. Hopefully another fix is on the way.

For me it was the contrary: v37 couldn't load a GIF that was one, and even refused to load new images if I didn't restart it. It's only with 38.01 I can browse these GIF-heavy threads again.

nope. I usually make them with photoshop (import video frames to layers). I just edit frame by frame and then I save the file as animated gif.

Nevermind I give up, I have a near complete video that I was working on but don't know how to make it into a gif since photoshop is giving me problems, if someone wants it and makes some touches and what not they can have it. PM me your info so I can email it to you if I can and I made it with Premier but made it into a Mp4, I guess i could also upload it to Youtube and give you a link if you want it and download it from Youtube like that, just PM me for it.
