cool,
but I do want to see some forest stage, this is to much castle, unless the back part could be the forest type or something.

A forest stage? Since when do Vanias have forest stages?
Granted I haven't played very many.

The degree to which this actually seemed to bother backers (as opposed to random nosy passersby) proved to be relatively insignificant in the long run. If you're gonna pick on something, pick on the worse (though still neutral to positive overall) reaction Part 2 wound up with.
Oh, there we go. Yet another non-backer with no interest in the game who comes by to shitpost every time Double Fine is mentioned.

The castle is the twisted academy/refuge of the Alchemy Guild. I'm sure they need lots of plants for their recepies. So a greenhouse is likely in that castle. That's a bit like a forest?

If gameplay is set inside the castle, you won't get much forest, unless they add a gigantic garden area. (which would be pretty awesome)
I am hoping one of them is an orchestrated soundtrack and the final goal is Vita/Wii U.
It looks like shit, the Vampire Killer and Bloody Tears remixes are awful, the boss is lame and the whole area is like 4 rooms longMan... I forgot how shitty that SoTN garden area looked.
NiTM should never happened.
Sorta like this?![]()

Guys, to be clear there are zero screenshots of this game, just concept arts.Wow.
From the screenshots on the kickstarter page I didn't really get this type of vibe, seems like they're going more in the anime Dawn of Sorrow type direction....would be pleasantly surprised if they went with a more darker tone like this though.

Can someone explain to me what's so bad about the Saturn version of Symphony of the Night? I don't understand why it is not the definitive edition of that game what with it containing 3 playable characters, more items, music and a secret area. Why didn't we ever see that version ever again?
And what's this about Saturn's Maria being broken? I always wanted to play as her. She sounded more fun that Richter.

We're just getting into Day 9 and the campaign has surpassed the final castle stretch goal: Classic Mode, in which the game's assets will be re-arranged into six punishing, linear stages.
However... remember the lens we sent to the jeweler? Because you hit the castle floor too quickly? The Diamond Loupe has returned to us, and with it you can now see 6 tiny stretch goals for 8-bit music tracks! These songs will be new compositions -- not remixes -- which should complement each of the six Classic Mode stages quite nicely.
In addition to unique songs by Yamane and Yamada, we're thrilled to add a new artist to the lineup: Jake Kaufman, aka virt! You may know him as the prolific composer of dozens of songs/soundtracks for games including Shovel Knight, Ducktales: Remastered, Bloodrayne: Betrayal, Shantae, and Double Dragon Neon.
Through the keyhole, you can make out a $2.75 million stretch goal that IGA's been excited to reveal for some time. More than all the other stretch goals this is something the Kickstarter has made possible: He's going to make this his biggest game ever. His original plans for the castle were conservative, but in keeping with the kind of work he's been able to do before. But that was all the way back at $500,000.
His ambition has grown along with the campaign, and at $2.75 million he's finally ready to commit to making this the biggest castle he's ever designed. (He estimates that the world will be 25 percent larger than it would have been if the Kickstarter had only just reached its goal.)
...Is that a Wii U stretch goal I see at $3,000,000?
Let's do this!

Where's this now? I'm holding out for a Wii U port.
I've reached a point where, other than an orchestrated soundtrack, I can't imagine what other stretch goals there could even be. A Wii U/Vita goal (which is, in essence, a Unity or Unreal 3 port of the game to be done after the fact) feels like it should be the final goal. And boy would I be happy if that was the case.
He's going to make this his biggest game ever. (at 2.75)
Yes IGA.....yes....
i dont care if its arbitrary its just really nice he said that.
Also new 8-bit music is kewl. They got their shit together on the last bunch of stretch goals. Will make it all easy with the final push.
If they're doing Wii U, there is still hope for other platforms.
You're thinking what I'm thinking, my friend.

You can see what is clearly the top of the Wii U logo (note that the U is negative space). Now go give 'em your money!
bleh $3 mil goal is wii-u. i hope it doesn't affect the development of the ps4/xbone/pc versions.
