Halo 5 Guardians: #huntthetruth

God, I hope
M'Shak
survived, and it's just an ONI communications/movement lockdown in the outer colonies.

Hopefully he'll appear in H5 or something. I hope he isn't dead :(

I have a theory on how this is going to end as well. I reckon they'll make the final episode in video form and play it on the main stage at E3 and it'll explain what's going on in the outer colonies.

Rather, the new trailer opens with either live action or in-game conclusion to Hunt the Truth and lead-in to Halo 5. I'm visualizing:

... Bonnie Ross gets on stage: "For the last three months Halo fans around the world have been eagerly anticipating each Sunday to follow Benjamin Giraud as he attempts to hunt the truth about the shady past of the Spartan II program and the seemingly traitorous acts of Master Chief. Last night we treated fans to the epic two part finale of that left fans in a precarious position in how they view the Master Chief. Today, we want to provide the thrilling end of Ben's tale and let you see for yourselves if the Master Chief is indeed a traitor."

Trailer plays.... Leads into game play as Spartan Locke.... Trailer ends with Locke meeting Chief.

... Bonnie Ross returns to the stage: "Alongside the launch of Halo 5: Guardians, on October 27th, we will also be launching the Steven Spielberg-produced Halo television series the week after on Showtime, Xbox Video, and the Halo Channel. It will be free for anyone who purchases Halo 5: Guardians. Oh and here's some big team battle game play from our pro team. Enjoy E3!"

That's kinda what I'm thinking it'll be like. Although I think it'll be a CGI trailer with a voice over from Ben hinting at what these outer colony anomalies are.

Wow, that was incredible!!! Holy shit. And that part about Ben now being under "Our" protection is most interesting to say the least.

I'm wondering if this is somehow the work of that extremely secret group of AI that have been around for such a long time now more directly intervening in the affairs of humanity.

Civil War Part 2

This time whose going to come out on top or will no one come out on top. Meaning not even the human race even now are ready to handle the mantle, as the war between inner and outer began a new. Regardless though this could not be happening at a more shittier time. But on the flip side this mirrors the struggle on the covenant side as well interestingly enough.

M'Shak gone (Dead or just "missing in action)

ONI #Exposed

Outer Colonies cut off?

The tension is being delivered so well by industry standard setting acting.

This is the greatest hype machine I've ever witnessed (wasn't here for I Love Bees)

Crazy things are coming indeed

Also your avatar is nightmare inducing.

The first thing they should do is listen to it. Coming into the thread before hand is asking for trouble.

They should but there will be people who won't. I think at least until tomorrow major things should be tagged.

Also I tend to come to the thread to find the next episode. Can't be bothered with any of that googling.

Outer colonies cut off? Their cries for help will fall on deaf ears when deep space bad boys arrive.

Unless it's the same deep space bad boys that have cut them off in the first place...

Fantastic episode as always. So, how many are left at this point, three, four?

Very true. Love the ambiguous cliffhanger they left it on! I'm just wondering if they'll actually lift the curtain on the mystery meat before E3. I know one of my friends would love to see insurrectionists in a game, so that'd be interesting.

I bet we'll figure out what the anomalies are on the last episodes before E3 in a very basic sense, but we'll figure out more during/after the E3 conference.

The insurrectionists actually would be pretty interesting to see in the game, since they've pretty much always been in the shadows in the other mainline games. Heck, if the past two episodes are any indication,
Chief might be working in tandem with them in some way by the time of Halo 5.

One thing that's certain is that some seriously epic stuff is going down right now, and I'm really interested in knowing just how much of the larger picture the Master Chief is actually consciously aware of.

Obviously there's more to the story, about that attack on that peace conference, and it's going to be so awesome seeing it all get slowly peeled back and revealed. And, personally, I feel this is the most amazing bit of hype and clever as hell marketing I've ever had the pleasure of seeing a game receive. The bar for quality has just been risen so damn high, and I'm loving every minute of it.

Just finished now - ok, Keegan-Michael Key's VA was even more amazing in this one. His little speech in front of you-know-who, all the emotion in his voice showed through so wonderfully clearly.

I hope we see M'Shak again :(

Also the outer colonies being out for ONI blood - HYPE...That is, if they survive whatever the hell just happened.

I don't know why, but I feel these "deep space anomalies" have something to do with the Flood. That would be a legit shook moment right before E3.

So guys, as someone who hasn't been paying attention to this thing will I be lost as fuck when it comes to Halo 5?

Like I tried reading some posts in here and I have no idea whats happening or how you even find where this stuff is.

Idk I was trying to get caught up and am worried reading this stuff Halo 5s plot is gonna be a mess

A) Listen to the episodes, they're damn good.

B) No clue. There's been one event that could be a significant lead-in, but past that, everything's up in the air. We only barely know what Halo 5's plot is going to be (Locke & Co. hunting Chief and Blue Team for some supposed treason, and even that's a little bit wonky since it clashes with the E3 tease where the Arbiter talked about how they needed to find the Chief to save the galaxy), so other than that one thing it's all up in the air.

Based on the comics or whatever I'd say that it's all but guaranteed the Flood will appear in some form or another.

Where do I even listen to the episodes though?

I'm sorry, I'm just lost with this thing. It is on social media?

Edit: Ok its on tumblr I think
