Splatoon |OT| Squidstyler

Having my first night away from Splatoon and it feels as if I left my first born behind. To be honest, I didn't expect to like the game nearly as much as I do, and it's hooks are now deeply embedded.

Gonna be a long night without...
 
Hit level 10. I'm having a lot of fun with the custom splattershot jr and its insane rate of fire. Echolocator is still game breaking. I'd try another weapon, but knowing where the enemy is so I can re-ink the area or just straight up hunt them is far too fun.
 
I've been working a gig on the other side of the country all weekend, why is there no video yet of every weapon unlock? Are there really that many?

Dying to play this after I get off my cross-country flight tomorrow :(

When it comes to comparisons, I can't help but be reminded of de Blob, especially in singleplayer. They games are completely different (although they do share the "paint everything with color" theme) but somehow I get a similar vibe or something.
 
the best player i've seen is some japanese player - he was playing like I've never seen anyone else play, with his squid jumping it was like no one could hit him

I can just imagine the players that will emerge when rank appears.
 
Are all the Amiibo challenges just doing the story stages all over again?

I only did 3 levels in story and the first 3-4 challenges felt the same (Inkling Girl).

yeah but its alot harder and some of them have a time limit...i hate time limits D: but it makes it a bit more challenging
 
Out of curiosity, is it lag when the notification that you splattered someone is delayed by a few seconds? Just wondering if I'm being a laggy nuisance to others or if it's sometimes a normal occurrence for the "kill feed" thing to sometimes be held up.

I only ask this because if I am indeed lagging, it certainly doesn't feel like it. All the ink lands with no delay and all my shots land etc. It's smooth as butter and it's fantastic, just curious as it doesn't happen every time only sometimes.
 
I haven't really encountered anyone who made me think the sniper weapons are all that effective, but man I've been on teams with them that made me hang my head in frustration at how poorly they performed.

The group is called Calamarciñas in spanish. Sounds so galician, hahaha
