Good for her.

edit: more pics.
Caitlyn Jenner did not spell her first name with a "K" because she wants a clean break from the Kardashian moniker ... TMZ has learned.

Sources closely associated with Bruce tell us Caitlyn wants to make it clear to her family and the world ... she is her own person. That sounds obvious, but we're told it was an extremely meaningful choice for her ... she has never been her own person before, and becoming part of the Kardashian brood would undermine her goal.

Our sources say it's not that there's bad blood between Caitlyn and the Kardashians ... it's all about self-identity.

short video of her talking about this.

Did he get the full treatment down there? How does that typically work? Is it a scarred flat skin surface all the way to the anus?

Actually looks convincing.

Good for her, I hope this helps with social acceptance and attention to the issue. Sucks that it takes a former Olympian just to humanize people that have a serious medical issue that needs treatment, but hopefully that does help so more people seek the treatment they need without fear.

Why you so obsessed with her private parts— something you wanna tell us?

Maybe it's the phtoshop and magazine makeup at work but considering her age and past she's pretty damn attractive, 👍

I didn't watch the interview, so I didn't know she was so advanced in her transition. She looks really good, I didn't recognize her at first.

This will be big.

Nice to see the family donating the assuredly massive, massive royalties Vanity Fair paid for this (especially considering the completely orchestrated timing) to desperately needed LGBT initiatives for those who need support, and not simply profiting off of this.

Lol I'm just kidding, but wouldn't it be nice if that actually did happen?

I'm more concerned by the "actually looks convincing". Because, you know, it's just a dress up game.
It's like a textbook example of how not to talk about a transgender person.

  • Saying "he"
  • Focusing on genitals/surgery, asking invasive questions which they wouldn't ask of a cisgender person
  • saying "looks convincing" like they are wearing a disguise
I mean damn

I know people are trying to say "she" and "her" as many times in their posts as they can.

But didn't Caitlyn want to still be referred as "he" for now? We should respect that.

It's still a good thing.

It's massively brave of her to transition publicly and openly like this, and that's probably doing more good than the money would anyhow.

She had a good phenotypical transformation medically, that's all. Some men can't fully look female after treatment. She's a female by gender identity but not genetically (x and Y chromosomes).

It took me longer than expected to recognize who that was.
Impressive to say at least.

That was at the time of the television interview when she was still Bruce.

Though I suppose we should wait until the interview is fully published.

I'm not getting into that one. I know you're not trying to be rude but I'm trans and I don't have the energy to start discussing all of that stuff, it's a bit too personal and sensitive. I'm sure someone else will pick up the discussion there.

Back on topic : posing in a basque is a pretty punk move. I like it.

This seems to be the point of changeover on that:

@Caitlyn_Jenner
I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me.
