Lost both of my splat zone matches so far. My teammates were horrible!
Played a decent chunk of Splatoon just now. I played a little yesterday, but I didn't really get into it until now. Level 8 so far.
I won 10 games in a row, and of probably close to 20 games played today, I only lost 3.
Am I awesome, or is it just pairing me against bad people for now or something? In most cases, I seem to be able to rush around the map with the splattershot jr, going for fast coverage and splatting people who get in my way. Usually not a lot of resistance is offered, rollers, contrary to what people thought in the beta, are NOT overpowered and quite easily dealt by way of splattershot jr, which also covers turf nearly as well.
I've tried some other weapons but find myself just staying with the splattershot jr with bubbleshield special. I like this special the best. If shit gets hairy, pop bubble and mow the other guy down, then continue covering turf.
The other type of person I see a lot are people sorta being relatively stationary, perhaps on a perch, trying to snipe. They don't seem to contribute much. If you rush around focusing on turf and only killing people if they get in your way, you tend to win. At least, that's how it's been so far.

So how does the +seconds work? Like how are they gained?
Once you reach lv. 20, you can spend 30,000G to add a third slot to each of your two-star clothing pieces. So just lv. 20 + 90,000G.

Yeah, after playing 3 ranked matches were i lost 2 i thibk THIS mode need voice commands. The firendly mode is ok just without, this, your team can make you fail easily.
Ha. And I'm not even playing right now.

Man, I doubt I'll ever touch ranked. I'm bad enough at playing normals. I'll hang with the casuals, I think. Just like in LoL.

Its a fun mode. Too bad theres not a non-ranked version.

Thank you both. It is nice they put different random maps for each mode at least you have an option if you strongly dislike one of them.

The blaster is soooooooooo broken on salt spray rig ranked lol. I singlehandedly defended the area because I can shoot around corners and from bellow.
Three star stuff is only 5000-10000 each. I almost have mine maxed out in an hour. Its easy.
