Oh hey maybe I can get a £15 refund on that racing game I bought last summer which requires DX11, and I don't have that.

Except for shorter games, particularly indie, that can be finished in a few hrs...The 2 requirements:
-Bought within the last 14 days
-Played for 2 hours or less
Seems reasonable to me

Steam is now better than any service.
Launching this before the steam sale is a bad idea.

As the FAQ States, they will revoke your ability for refunds if you abuse it.Except for shorter games, particularly indie, that can be finished in a few hrs...
This is horrible for short, episodic or arcade-style games.
There needs to be a separate policy for games of that nature.

If you completely ignore that there's games at all fucking price points on Steam, sure. There is a 2 hour window. But if your game is finished in less than 2 hours then maybe that game wasn't worth the value in the first place.

Yeah, automated would have been much better.I'm not willing to go that far yet. The issues still remain, where you might need to talk to someone about something more complex such as an account lock or fraud, and may run into a shit customer service experience. That said, this is a great move in the right direction, albeit I doubt this was particularly difficult to implement as an automated system

Valve would be able to see the achievements and notice the exploit.SonyToo!;166203536 said:There are arcade games like shmups on the steam which can be beaten in a single run of 30 minutes, devs will just have to remove the very easy difficulties which some casual players might not like.
