These kids are wasting their time trying to audition for a role in Harry Potter, only 2 black actors allowed per movie and they can't be on screen at the same time.

Anyone that says deep dish is a tourist or from the suburbs.

I recommend Pequods (thin) and Art of Pizza (pan).

You say that, and then recommend Pequods? What the fuck?

I'm sure Pequods thin is great, but to the person that was asking, Pequods deep dish is awesome too. [Insert pizza generalization here]

Lol...as good an any a place to repost this from a thread that went wood last week..

Me and my wife haven't had a getaway since our two and a half year old son was born so we are planning on spending this weekend in the Chicago area. We are will be staying in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. Unfortunately we are not very familiar with the area (I haven't been since college) and are terrible at planning things to do. Any locals have any suggestions?

Some relevant facts which might help:

1) We are old. (not really) We are in our mid to late thirties so we wouldn't mind doing things age appropriate. We would prefer a mixed or older crowd.

2) We are poor (not really). We don't however wanna break the bank for a weekend. We might go out to a nice dinner one night but would like to find cheaper entertainment if possible.

3) We are lazy (not really). We both don't mind a little walking but we aren't in the best of shape and would like to relax a little. So no indoor rock climbing or anything of the sort.

Thanks to all in advance. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
(Sorry for the derail)

I'll check Pequods out I have it on my list of pizza spots to check out.
Damenzo's on Taylor is ghetto as fuck but really good.

And I do like Piece when I have the stomach to wade through the hipster crowds.
Not trying to go too far from downtown
NYC pizza > Chi-town pizza.

Maybe that's what the shoutout was about.
NYC>Chi city fact!

Hmmm I'll see about the deep dish. Heard it maybe be too much to eat in one sitting. It will be a game time decision for me

Roman candle fights are awesome. You keep a bunch of bottle rockets in your pocket and after the candle is done, you can use the cardboard tube to aim the bottle rockets.

Where is some good pizza to eat in Chicago?

http://www.caprispizza.com/

EDIT: Only get takeout. Also ask for hot sauce.

When I was a kid we just threw dirt bombs at each other.

Like literally clogs of dirt pulled from mounds made by construction diggers.

The mounds made for great bases too :)

You seriously think you're going to get shot if you visit Chicago?
I visited this week. Wasn't shot.

Had fun for the most part, don't think I'll visit again though. Might be different if I was with someone or good looking lol. Didn't feel welcomed at all in the miracle Mile
