Nah, a stage appearing more than two times in a row happen since the release. Although it seems to have gotten worse after the patch.

While dual sticks are worse than a mouse, the gyro controls are even worse! That's the problem

How do people get the Cuttlefish armor? Is that from the squid Amiibo?
I asked that without an answer, so I know it can be frustrating when the thread goes so fast and your question gets overlooked.. Basically, it's a reward for completing the single player campaign. Upon completion, you're rewarded with the Octoling & Hero clothing, which are of the Cuttlegear brand.
Thank you. I'll get used to not swinging around like crazy.
I really like the controls most of the time.

Yes. I've seen purple vs. turquoise exclusively. But that color combo is so horrible that the darkness of purple only makes the turquoise look like sperm.

I'm starting to really like them. Won 9 out of 10 ranked games earlier with it. It's not as good for turf wars but it still is decent.

I was a huge skeptic of this game... but I went against my better judgment and bought it because I had rewards points... and holy crap, I'm glad I did. This game is fantastic!
It's a bummer it shipped with as little content as it did... it reminds me a lot of Destiny in that sense, but the content it has, I'm playing the crap out of. Never been so happy to be so wrong.
What's the update schedule for this game? New maps will keep making this game more and more fun to play...

Yeah, I'm thinking stealth jump is better in ranked. I jump far less in turf wars because there's almost always a spot to paint over that's unguarded. I jump a lot in ranked though and it's always a gamble.
Okay I guess I'll try to persevere. Maybe play the singleplayer first then.

The minute details of aiming accuracy make gyro a godsend. Dual sticks in this game are terrible
The SP helps, you also have to train yourself to use the stick for turning for the most part, at first I was using the gyro for making big turns and it was a mess.

I wish they wouldn't use letter grades for the ranking system. I feel like I'm in squid school. At least we can't get lower than a C- though.

2 new modes (Tower Control/Tug of War and Rainmaker which we have no clue what it is), 8 new maps (3 being Camp Triggerfish, Bluefin Depot and Kelp Dome, with apparently a factory, a construction site and a huge building) and at least 8 more weapons (Inkbrush, other Zappers, something that looks like a crossbow) until the big August update. They'll probably drip feed the content as to get players used to the new challenges but there's no definite release schedule.
Main ability is connected to the gear.
