A bit of a tangent, but I was thinking about something stupid the other night. I kinda wish if paintbrushes were sub weapons. Get a nice rate of fire weapon with a paintbrush for melee and it'd be so cool looking.
On another similar note, I still think Splatoon or Splatoon 2 should have a "cloaking"/"spy" special that camouflages you as the opposing team's color (with some static or until you see the color of the ink they fire) for a short while.

If ya use rapid fire weapons its safer because you can start spraying shots before you land to cover stuff somewhat.

Slowly becoming addicted to drawing Inklings for "yeahs". So easy to draw and adorable.

Been playing some turf wars with other weapons. Hit and miss
Rapid blaster got me few wins but couldn't really get used to it.
Same for 96 gal. Need some more time with them I think.
Switched back to my splattershot jr.
In my last match. I pretty much held an entire team at bay on their side of the map. So many splattered. My highest amount of points too at 1639p

I had a great Splatoon day!
I just won 5 games in a row in Ranked, got to rank 20 in the process and hit rank B. I've finally found some tactics that work for me pretty well on most maps. I've also found ways of stopping enemies from doing goofy shit in Mall.
I think it's probably time to get back to Turf War which I haven't played since Sunday to play with you guys again. I got real caught up in Ranked.

I've moved to the .96 Gal for better range and I'm doing really well with it.

Splat Zones is really, really fecking me off right now. I'm far from perfect at it, but have got a basic strategy which works passably well for most maps, Walleye Warehouse being the most prominent exception. I don't do a ton of offensive work, as my one-on-one killing isn't that great, so will either stick back and secure the closest zone to my camp so others can push forward, or if there's only one zone, I'll hang back, keep putting shields up and taking out people from afar with the Jet Squelcher. Again, doesn't always work, but it's rare that I'm not making some sort of positive contribution, even if it's not necessarily the sort of stuff that wins games on its own.
The problem, of course, is that nearly every single team I end up on is populated with absolute mongoloids who just derp around getting killed, or notice I've taken up a good position so stand right in my way and make an easy target for a charger to get two kills while simultaneously preventing me from doing anything unless I move. I started the night on C+ and 78 score, am now on C with 65. And the majority of these games weren't even close, so it's not like it could've been just me who wasn't pulling my weight somehow: the other team was always at the zone(s) before us and anytime I took up a position, it generally wasn't long before someone from the other team broke through with ease and took me down. I've got plenty of shortcomings, not least that I seem to be the only person affected by my aim constantly sticking to the fecking floor, but jesus christ. If even half the teams I ended up on were even halfway decent, I may have ended up losing points over the few hours I played, but not over 100. Absolutely ridiculous.
If anyone has basic strategies which work in this game that I've somehow overlooked, please tell me, because I'm really getting sick of constantly being on the losing end.

My favorite set up as well. Love the seekers and I haven't used a weapon that feels quite right for me after using the .52 Gal.

Frigging lol. That's me every time it happens, especially at times when I click on my teammate to super jump. Then, before my inkling reach there, I noticed said teammate just died. I just have a "oh shit" face on me as I land, then proceed to get ambushed badly lol
